Have used them several times. Friendly and efficient. A little covid-phobic, no face to face interaction.

Never had a follow up email, nor a return call. How do you run a business by not contacting customers?

Although I didn't have an item fixed here, I called and the lady was very nice and completely honest and saved me money so I highly recommend this place for any computer repairs you may need!

We were having network issues for 5 days after upgrading to a newer version of Quickbooks. Spent close to 12 hrs on and off with 4 different Quickbooks techs. No resolution. Called Matt, he came to the shop and had us up and going the next day. Very reasonably priced and worth every penny. I highly recommend Computer Specialists. Thanks Matt!!!

I was told that I needed a new hard drive in my PS4 and that it would cost $140 to fix. I tried picking my ps4 up several times and no one is there. I was at GameStop asking questions and the guy said the issue we were having was definitely not a harddrive problem and he told us how to put the ps4 into standby mode and reset it. We went and were finally able to get our ps4 back from this company. We just restarted the ps4 and it worked!! No harddrive needed. While our game system was there PlayStation contacted us on 2 different occasions stating that whoever had our ps4 had changed usernames and passwords to our account that has our credit card information on it. Not to mention that every time we went into this place of business there were dogs inside barking at us the entire time we were there. And our Ps4 was covered with so much dog hair that we had to clean it when we got it back home. I am very disappointed on the service that we received. I will never recommend to anyone!! Thank you to Gamestop and YouTube for helping me through my issue.

We asked Computer Specialists to download and install one software program on my elderly mother's new computer. Upon stopping by the next day to find out the status, my mother was told it wasn't ready yet, and possibly would not be ready until the following day. Puzzled that it would take over two days for a simple download and thinking perhaps she misunderstood, I called a short time later to follow up. I was told by the owner that it had been done, she just hadn't written up the invoice yet. When asked when that might be ready, I was given a vague response having to do with how swamped she had been, and never got a straight answer.Could be today. Could be tomorrow. For an invoice? This wasn't a complex job. Later in the afternoon, though, they finally called my mother to tell her she could pick up the computer. She was charged $60.00, and when she said that seemed quite a lot for a download -- with no diagnostics or hardware installation necessary -- she got a long-winded explanation about the fact that it was their "policy" to charge this amount at a MINIMUM for any computer work. If that's indeed their policy, it was not explained to us when the computer was dropped off, nor is it specified on their business web site. In addition, an older woman who works at the shop in some non-technical capacity was extraordinarily rude to my 83-year-old mother, telling her to "have a little cheese with that whine" upon her visit to check on the status. When she returned to the shop to pick up the computer, the woman said nothing but dismissively pointed a finger toward the second office where the owner was. The owner reiterated her $60 "policy" and then went into a detailed tangent about how a portion of their fees is donated to a charity -- as if this either justifies charging this much and not making it clear up front, or somehow mitigates it. Three points: 1. If you're going to charge a flat $60 fee for more or less walking in the door, TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS, either verbally or in writing. For the "work" that was done, this amount is exorbitant and I consider it a rip-off. 2. You're either running a business, or working to fund-raise for a charity. The latter is quite obviously the owner's top priority. I'll grant that it's a good cause, but it's also at the expense of customer service. 3. The receptionist or whatever she is needs to either get some manners, or stop dealing with the public. Had I been present when my mother was told to have a little cheese (and nobody was smiling during that exchange) I would not have been as gracious as she was. While we make an effort to patronize local businesses in the community, we will not be bothering Computer Specialists with our computer or electronic needs again, nor will we recommend them.

I am very satisfied with the services from this company. My TV got fried in an electrical storm a month ago. I bought the TV from Costco about 3 years ago, so it was just out of warranty. Replacing it would have cost close to $800. Costco recommended a company called ITI. I called them, and they said they could fix it for $300. ITI must sub-contract this work locally to Computer Specialists because the business card that was left after the fact was for Computer Specialists and not ITI. I had to pay the money up-front via providing my credit card info over the phone, which I didn't like. However, shortly after paying and filling out a few approval forms. A technician called me and told me my parts were on order and would call back when they arrive. My technician, Christie was super nice & called all the time to confirm details prior to arriving. The repair itself was quick. I totally recommend this company if your TV needs repair. You might save some serious dough in repairing it rather than replacing it.
