I’m not typically a public complainer, but this type of service was unacceptable.Terrible wait time in the lobby and in the room. I made an appointment at 8am for a crown fitting, only to be told at 8:20 while I’m sitting in the chair that the dentist wouldn’t be in until 9am. I rescheduled for the same day at 11:30. After a 30 minute wait in the lobby, I was finally taken into a room at 12pm. Dentist came in at 12:05, and seemed to be in a rush. He put the numbing gel in my mouth for a few seconds (not enough to numb the area), proceeded to inject me with the novacaine which was extremely painful because the gel wasn’t applied long enough. I expressed that it was super painful, to be told he’s almost done. After given the novacaine, I then sat in the room waiting for the dentist for another 20 minutes. At that point, I went to the check-out desk and asked for a refund and left the facility. I had severe jaw pain until the following morning, where I couldn’t open my mouth fully to eat or talk without pain.Side note: They wouldn’t make a cleaning appointment alongside my general check up appointment time, as the dentist had to “see which type of cleaning” I needed. I’ve never experienced this with any other dental facility. What an inconvenience.If you need dental care, don’t choose Aspen.

While my experience with the actual people there was fine and good, it's the billing and appointments that are the absolute worst. The billing department is horrible, often use wrong codes and today getting a bill from 2 years ago that is incorrect. This is not the first time either. So many problems there and they are under staffed so for appointments, you are either waiting or the rescheduled most of the time. I am in the process of finding another provider. While I did find the people working there nice enough, it doesn't account for having to do all this to get insurance/ billing corrected. See a lot of reviews and its the same, at least for this location.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DR IBRAHEEM IN BLOOMINGDALE IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! HE HAS MADE MULTIPLE PEOPLE LEAVE CRYING. GOING TO THE DENTIST IS ALREADY VERY NERVE-RACKING FOR PEOPLE THIS WILL MAKE PEOPLE NEVER WANT TO GO BACK TO THE DENTIST AGAIN. IF HE HATES WHAT HE DOES SO MUCH HE SHOULD FIND A NEW PROFESSION. WE ARE REPORTING HIM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IMMEDIATELY. HE SHOULD LEARN HOW TO TREAT HIS PAYING PATIENTS

Went for a simple check up to get a release for surgery; left with an estimate of $30,000, redoing crowns that I had done 1 year ago. Read complaints with the BBB or other sites. It was a horrible experience. The person who does the x-rays was the only kind one in the place. I already made an appointment with another dentist. The good news, they said, "We have payment plans."

I loved everything about my visit to Aspen Dental...well maybe not getting the Novocaine injections ;)I was kind of hesitant to go here for a couple reasons.1. Months ago I went to a different local Dentist office and the Dentist I saw flat out said that going to a place like Aspen Dental was a numbers game and they didn't care about the well-being of their clients.But...this Dentist then went on to quote me a RIDICULOUS amount for her recommended services! I almost left her office in tears.2. When I checked out some reviews for Aspen Dental...there were some really bad ones!But there were some good ones so I decided to give it a go.Well let me tell you...it was a great visit from start to finish.The woman I scheduled with, the Check-In Receptionist, the X-Ray Technician, the Hygienist, the Dental Assistant, the Doctor and the Check out Receptionist were all very friendly, patient, and thorough in all their explanations and care.I'm so happy I went here for my crown and cleaning.I WISH I would have gone here to get my Partial, but I ended up getting that at Affordable Dentures while I was out of state.Oh! Another great thing...I can go to any Aspen Dental, even out of State which is great for me.That is not the case with Affordable Dentures and Implants where I ended up getting a Partial. I went to an office in Georgia thinking I could also get services in Illinois...not so.Aspen Dental is a one stop shop with some amazing technology and efficient & friendly staff ;)I hope your experience was as great as mine.

I have had 4 visits and they have never been close to on time. I have been the first appointment of the day twice and both times they were at least 15 minutes late. The employees all walk in after the 8am opening time. One of my 4 visits was over 90 minutes late. They have very little respect for their patients time. This was the Bloomingdale and Algonquin Illinois locations.

I went to Aspen as it was recommended on my insurance site and I will never return. My first visit, the staff was over an hour late and then rushed me through xrays/didn't have time for my cleaning. I did a quick consult with the hygienist and then was with the dentist for under a minute. He said that I may benefit from Invisalign and needed to get a few cavities filled and could schedule them at the desk. I went to the desk to pay for the visit/xrays and was told my bill was $3k. I asked what could possibly cost $3k for xrays and a checkup and she said that they were billing me for Invisalign. I said no, thank you, and was told I could be put on a payment plan. I was not interested in a payment plan or Invisalign without really understanding the process and having an actual consultation and not just a single minute with the dentist. The office staff said I could wait and do my cleaning in 30 minutes but had to rush to work since the appointment was already over an hour behind. I came back for my cleaning and scheduled my cavity fillings - to which they said I needed two appointments - one for each side of the mouth. I took the two days off work and was called two days before and told that the dentist scheduled another service on the Thursday so he couldn't see me and that there were no techs available that Friday. I asked to be rescheduled for a single day since they canceled on me and were now pushing me into 2024 when my time at work reset. The day that we rescheduled for ended up being an ice storm and I couldn't get out of my neighborhood so I called and never received a response back.I did some googling that morning, read a lot of reviews, and decided I will not be returning for the work. This place is only out to get money and will try to mark up/scam people into anything they can and a lot of the reviews talk about how terrible the work is that they have gotten done here. There are pages dedicated to getting this place shut down entirely. Make sure you do your research and advocate for yourself if you HAVE to go here. Otherwise, I would stay as far away from this place as possible.

With Cigna dental went for a basic checkup and cleaning . Waited 40 mins to be seen and didn't receive a cleaning, they did try to get me to pay for a treatment plan , which was about 2000 out of pocket. They seem pretty fishy

I was amazed at the care I was given. My teeth have always been an issue for me. We set up an amazing plan. It’s extremely affordable for all that I have to get done. I’d highly recommend Aspen Dental to everyone! I’m excited to start my teeth journey to have the smile I have always wanted!
