“We adopted Katalina 2 years ago today. She came from a 51 dog hoarding situation and was shy and skiddish. Guess what? She is still shy and skiddish and loved and spoiled and walked and treated like a princess. Her best friend is our rescued Beagle Spirit and she is the sweetest addition to our family. I loved working with Almost Home. The foster mom was so kind and went above and beyond to support our adoption. Please support this agency and the volunteers that make it happen.”
“Beautiful amazing and a memorable visit. We drove through the main path and it was absolutely jaw dropping beautiful. I stopped at big rock and walked the wood chipped path crossing paths with lots of birds, butterflies and squirrels. Big rock is definitely something to see and to read the story of why this big rock is in the middle of the forest. I sure wish I had more time to visit but next time I’ll plan on staying a bit longer and walk the trails. Admission is $25 for adults, Seniors $19, small children and infants are free. If you are a active duty military member or family of an active duty service member admission is free and the whole car is free meaning everyone in the car is free, you just have to show valid military ID.”

“FMSC is a great place to volunteer, especially for families with kids. The flexibility is one of the biggest highlights- you can sign up for shifts that fit your schedule.
What really stands out is how welcoming and organized everything is. The activities are meaningful but simple enough for all ages to participate, making it a perfect way to spend quality time together while making a positive impact.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to volunteer in a way that’s flexible, family-friendly, and fulfilling!”
“Wonderful place. Staff is friendly. They provide work opportunities and experience for those with special needs. They also take wonderful care of their plants all year long.”
“I had a great experience! From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. The staff was kind, welcoming, and professional. I felt comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. Everything was clean, organized, and handled with care. I’m really happy with the service and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for making my experience so positive!”
“I want to thank the beautiful women at Northwest Compass Mt Prospect for assisting me with my financial hardship. It was literally at the point of no return and things could have gotten drastically worse had they not stepped in to mitigate and advocate on my behalf. I saw the gospel being played out in real time as these women fought for me. I sat in another room but could see through the window how they were leaning forward sitting down on the phone speaking with my debt collector and were displaying love and passion for their jobs and me, their neighbor. We hit some walls along the way but my case worker Brianna McGahee patiently and persistently found a solution for me that has changed the trajectory of my finances in an indescribable way. I want to personally thank Brianna for not giving up on me when it looked like we were out of options. With her by my side it felt like there is always an option on the table. It’s just a matter of having the will to roll up the sleeves and get down in the dirt with someone to give them a hand up.
I highly recommend Brianna for any promotion or pay raise that is available for her. We need more people like her in the field helping those truly in need.
Thanks again to all the women involved in helping me. Praise God! God bless you all!”
“My wife received her package several weeks ago and she cried. The thoughtfulness of each and every item is quite touching. She loves the blanket and uses it every chemo day with the booties. She tells everyone she meets about the hope box. God bless all of you for your wonderful work and a sincere heartfelt thanks to whomever requested one for her. Its not the items within the box so much as the outpouring of love and thoughtfulness that builds the spirit to keep cancer victims moving forward in a positive frame of mind. Thank you all!”
“07-26-2024 - VFW American Legion Roselle Cruise Nights does a fabulous job every year. This show featured the incredible and fantastic Rick Lindy and the Wild Ones.”
“Bonnie the volunteer spent a lot of time providing information about the dogs I met, making sure that the animals were comfortable, and ensuring that the animals would be provided with a good home.”
“I donate often and this is my go to place to drop off donation now. The staff who receive donations are always polite and courteous. The way they present items for resale, it is obvious how much care and heart they put into it. It looks like a well kept store.”
“Please understand that Free masonry and the Shriners are not what they used to be 50 years ago. The reason why so many influential men are and were Freemasons From Walt Disney to Colonel Sanders is because Freemasonry used to really help you get ahead in the world.. As the decline of new memberships started the standard of being a Mason also decreased as well out of desperation for members. There’s so many people in here and they don’t even know why they are. It’s something to do In your spare time if you don’t really have friends, but it’s not gonna get you anywhere… Don’t believe me? Talk to Mason yourself and do not be afraid to question their answer Of why they joined Freemasonry and what they got out of it”
“I really like this place! I donate lots of good things, mostly books, notebooks and workbooks. I like looking around and they have a nice selection of adults and kids DVDS. Also, they have holiday and regular greeting cards. They have cute holiday decorations too. If you are in the area, please go in this place and check it out.”
“Absolutely great time! Birds of Prey sanctuary tour on Sundays 1-3pm is a entertaining and educational. $20 a car is a steal for a wonderful time for kids, families, bird watchers, or a date.
Highly recommended and I don't particularly like birds.”

“Feral Fixers does such a great service for the DuPage County community. They help spay and neuter as many cats as they can. And they will put up kittens and as many adoptable cats as possible.
Check them out on Facebook. If you are looking to adopt a kitty, they have lots of pictures. They also have open houses to meet adorable kitties.
They are also looking for volunteers if you have time to spare.”

They turned hard in one day, do I wasn't able to eat it.There's might be others in the same position as me that are too embarrassed to mention it.I'm not complaining ar all. You are a life savor.”
“I’ve learned a great deal from sustain DuPage regarding the health of our soul impacting the health of us! I’ve been with the organization since it started in 2016 and I’m proud to see the growth they have had over the years. This is a great place to bring your kids and your family members to learn, grow and enjoy the harvest!”
“This fine organization takes care of local people who need to know someone cares. This group cares. They provide food, assistance, gifts for the holiday and kindness, boundless kindness.”

It’s a great place to do program's and or volunteer!Hugs and Mugs is a great place to get gelato, chat or a cup of coffee! “This is a wonderful donation center! The staff are talented and friendly, and everything was clean and efficient. I have never enjoyed donating blood before, but the exceptional staff actually made it really fun. I will definitely be donating here again in the future.”
“Waltz, fox trot, cha cha. rumba and swing music is played at every monthly dance party. A variety of other dance music is played as well for the more advanced dancers. When not dancing, it’s easy to meet and chat with friendly people who share your interest in dancing. Water and snacks are provided at no extra charge. The dance floor is huge. There’s plenty of space in the center of the room for couples who prefer not to progress around the outer part of the room in waltz and fox trot.”
“Outstanding friendly staff at front desk.
I just started going for the events at the bloomingdale park district. Everyone is extremely Helpful and very nice.
Thank You”
