I find it embarrassing that Petsmart partners with Banfield and doesn't regulate some of Banfield's policies. To be exact, when your pet passes away Banfield keeps charging you until your renewal date comes which in my case is 9 months away. This is for a wellness plan I paid into for over 8 years. I don't plan of ever stepping foot in a Banfield or a Petsmart ever again. Disgusting and heartless business practice.

The one in Bloomingdale is great! The people are so friendly! I also love the grooming service. There is a lady name Ashley C. And she did a great job with my puppy. Looking forward to scheduling another appointment with her to take care of my puppy needs.

I've been bringing all my dogs to Petsmart grooming for over 20 years. I never had an issue with the Crystal Lake location. They always did such an excellent job with pet grooming! I wish I could say that my experience is equally good at every Petsmart grooming location. I recently moved to the Bloomingdale area and brought my puppy to the Petsmart in Bloomingdale, three times now. Twice, she came back looking very uneven and her nails were still sharp, even though I always pay extra for nail grinding. At the Bloomingdale location, they do not always trim the fur on the dog's paw pads, but other locations do pay attention and trim the fur on the paw pads. This most recent visit, the groomer at the Bloomingdale location, completely shaved my puppy's tail! They said the tail was too matted to brush out. I've had four dogs with long, furry tails and this has never happened before! It looks so bad! Also, the fur on her ears and face is uneven and very choppy. I paid for the top/deluxe grooming package with an extra hydrating shampoo which was $97. My puppy does not look like she received professional grooming. I'm unhappy with the way my puppy was groomed and do not recommend the Bloomingdale location.

This PetSmart is terrible and takes care of their animals terribly and I don't think they even care for the animals there. Once I had taken my dog to get his nails trimmed and the way the worker had treated my dog was absolutely disgusting I hope this place gets sued and never re opens, literally.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. We brought our dog in to get a nail trim and one of the girls working there started screaming and yelling at a dog she was grooming and said she'd cut the dogs tongue off if he moved again. Absolutely disgusting that an employee would treat animals like that. Do NOT take any pets here for grooming. We immediately left and will not ever return.

Disabled persons with disabilities beware!!! It's apparently obvious that PetSmart cares more about people sitting in their cars waiting for a curbside order , and careless about handicapped accessibly to the store. Nothing like pushing away your disabled customers. You can see the curbside pickup is at the closest proximity to the entrance. All handicapped parking by state law is to be in the closest proximity to entrance. I'm hoping Petsmart takes this very seriously and will make the needed changes to accommodate handicapped individuals. Be better for those that often have no voice and nor choice to get results to make their life easier. Do the right thing here.

My dog loves going here, whether it is to visit the vet, to buy food, treats, & dog clothes. The employee there was very friendly and gave great recommendations for our dogs. She knew a lot and gave good advice. Customer service is great and knowledgeable and it makes me feel confident shopping there. I look forward to shop on the clearance racks as the deals are usually amazing on the things I want to buy. I rarely experience such excellent customer service. I will continue to bring my pets here knowing they are in great hands! I would highly recommend this PetSmart.

Always very friendly ladies! I had a quick stop to try to get my dogs nails cut because I was worried about the back ones being too close to her paw. The lady was very friendly and made sure everything was up to date before she can take her in. My dog was well taken care of I got to watch from the outside so it wouldn't stress her out as much and her tale was wagging the whole time. I highly recommend their grooming services as well and this location. I'll be coming back again!

Staff was great. Helpful. courteous, friendly, & knowledgeable. I appreciate the quality of products and ample availability. Appreciate that Petsmart supports rescue & shelter pet adoptions. I feel sad that retailers have such a terrible problem with theft. Thank you for a good experience.

This place is great in regards to the fish section. All of the workers in the fish section are super nice. Just today they returned 8 fish of mine that died because of me I don't think I will spend my money at any other fish store .

Most groomers are disrespectful to their clients. Today I tried to make an appointment for dog grooming on the phone, no one would pick up. I stopped by the salon to make an appointment. The girl told to leave and use the phone instead. I used their services 5-6 times and was never really satisfied with their services. I was coming back only because of convenient location. Today's encounter was the last straw. I will never come back.

By far the worst service I've ever had. I brought our new puppy there for a puppy TRIM and cleaning . Without my consent the girl took it upon herself to completely shave my puppy . Not only did she shave her but the cut was extremely uneven . It took months for her beautiful fur to grow back . The manager offered me a free grooming for next time if I wanted to go to someone else. Like a dummy I decided to go back and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with attitude. I did not like how she was assessing my dogs fur and comments she made . I informed her I would just be taking my dog somewhere else. As I was leaving an employee in the store told me she would never take her own dog there and gave me a referral to another place . I contacted the new groomer and she said she has heard horror stories about that place. For the cost just find a REAL groomer that knows what they are doing .

Called the grooming department to schedule an appointment. The girl who picked up was very rude, and didn't want to answer my questions. She put me on hold for no reason and never picked up. I was surprised because during this pandemic you didn't have a job for 30 days, so be grateful I'm making an appointment. Needless to say, I will not bring my dogs here anymore.
