They do offer very good decor for the spooky season and have funny T shirts. The prices are NOT 5 and below. A lot of the good decor is about $7.00. They do have good deals on candy. Dollar General opened its 20,000th U.S. store on February 24th in Alice, Texas. It’s a major milestone for the discount chain that started as one small general store back in 1955. Starting with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration began at 9am. First customers received some freebies - tote bags filled with free product samples and snacks from DG's Clover Valley brand.
