I am NOT a comcast customer but they had to come into my yard to lay cable. They dug a 3 foot hole in my yard which was beyond the easement. They said they would put dirt back and seed. They covered the hole with clay, and covered it with straw and minimal seed. You can't grow grass on clay!! Comcast/Infinity needs to come out and fix the damage they have done! This was 9/14/23 in Orland Park, IL.

Can't reach a real person if your life depends on it, you wait on hold for nothing. Even tried the call back only to get hung up on!Terrible service for the money you pay them.

I can only speak from dropping off equipment. Gilberto was extremely helpful. He even mentioned I need to keep my HDMI cable. He educated me that someone always needs one, so they are good to keep!As far as all the low reviews, while was waiting I saw people coming in already ANGRY and people waiting for certain technicians because they only spoke Spanish- but then the customer decided to leave the store (to do whatever?) leaving there teenager there, putting staff in an awkward position- like that customer is next but the mom/dad isn't psychically in the building to address the account needs. The staff all around was in a good mood, I am aware technology issues are not fun but maybe try coming in with patience and see how much further that gets you? I'd go back to this location!

Best experience in dealing with a cable company, considering it always starts with a problem or complaint. We've been having problems with our parents cable/internet service so went in initially to see if we can remove services to reduce the cost. My wife has been working on this on/off for the past 6 months over the phone, so we took the opportunity to try to do it in person while we were visiting. This location was relatively close, and had plenty of parking (part of a big strip mall). Inside, there is plenty of space with tall ceilings and plenty of light. The cable companies are really pushing their mobile plans now, so most of the space was taken up by various smartphone models.We didn't have an appointment, so the front greeter took our name and asked us to wait. I really do like how both Xfinity and Spectrum follow this pattern....you might have to wait just as long but knowing you are in the queue and that it will be equitable for all involved, goes a long way. In our case, we were helped by Mohammed. We told him our situation, and he was knowledgeable and patient in explaining our options. Because my wife had already taken care of being the caretaker of the account, it was quickly implemented once our decisions were made. We returned some of our equipment, got a receipt for it, and was on our way.Well, it turned out that we had returned the main cable box so the one left, stopped working. We worked with tech support over the phone, and then was told we needed to change out boxes. We quickly went back before the store closed and talked to Francisco. This time, it was even quicker. He explained the problem and quickly swapped out boxes. Really efficient.Customer responses (to surveys and feedback in general) do seem very important now, so giving some props to them by typing up a quick review.

I recently went into the Bloomingdale xfinity store. I was greeted kindly and was helped right away. I had an issue with my past few bills and couldn’t get them resolved over the phone. The employee that helped was kind and helpful. I left with my issue regarding My Bill resolved. I will know for sure next Month but it looks good for now. Thanks

if you have a choice of satellite for your residential internet and cable tv. get it! Avoid Comcast/Xfinity. I pay for 400 mbps and only get 40. Some rooms only get 01mbps. Lame! their tv signal is spotty as well. Sometimes my tvs will freeze. Even after reboot, it doesnt work.. Now I know why everyone is ditching cable.. Comcast/Xfinity sucks. and they dont care if you complain. the customer service agents are not helpful and if you complain about the lack of customer care, they hang up on you... Time to move on.. If you want to avoid the mistake of getting service, Avoid Xfinity

Arian went above and beyond today! He and Julia spent hours working to retrieve my email that had been hacked. They were relentless and it paid off. I hate it whenever I go to Xfinity in OakBrook, even for the simplest things. The wait is too long, and they never give me a reliable estimate of the wait. The greeter will put me on the waiting list when I enter, and say, "there are a few people ahead of you." And I can see there are twenty people sitting there waiting to be assisted. It takes WAY too long to get anything done there.
