I went up this past tuesday with a friend who got her car there. They were so professional and was able to get me in a vehicle the same day. I am so thankful they were able to get me out of the vehicle I was in and in to a new one that runs and drives correctly. Honestly I would rather go here then where I got my other vehicle from.

Today I came in looking for a car bc mine broke down. Devyn, Amanda and Monte were very excellent in helping me purchase the best one. They were polite, funny and patient. Hey I want to share my experience at advantage auto sales in Bloomington I had a09 impala that the transmission went out and they assist me in getting a new vehicle had me to get it inspected and paid for repairs that needed to be done everyone was respectful funny and great to be around they made my experience just wonderful and smooth thank you guys for my new car and your customer service

Honestly don't come here, even if it's the only place you can get a car. Just because my finances weren't in order, doesn't mean I don't deserve to have my issues solved and to be treated like a human. They suggested a mechanic for an inspection before I purchased the car who said nothing was wrong with the car, so I purchased it. Then the engine light came on the next day. I took it to another mechanic and they gave me an entire list of what was wrong. When dealing with Advantage and the other auto shop they work with, I have proof that they lied to me and I have had to take my car in several times. It's still not fixed. They have still been lying to me and the shop that was supposed to fix it, putting my job in jeopardy because I need transportation. I have not fallen behind and I am still making payments on a car that I can't use. I'm having to pay for rides and my car note now. I've been hung up on multiple times and called names by Demeka. I've had to call another location to get management involved and they won't call me back either. At this point no one will contact me. This is a sham of a business and I've never been treated like this as a customer. I used to work customer service and what I experienced was beyond deplorable. They will scam you out of money and then treat you like you are the problem. They need to be shut down. This has been nothing short of a nightmare and I'm reporting to the BBB.

This has been the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. They sold me a broken car for almost $30,000 and told me that if I didn’t like it, I could return it within two weeks. However, they said any down payments or other money I had already paid wouldn’t be refunded. Since I was just starting to build my credit after getting a job, I agreed to the terms. My dad was with me, and we both provided our information for the purchase.
Two days after getting the car, it wouldn’t start when I was trying to go to work. I called the dealership, and they told me to have it towed to their shop, which I did. Despite the engine light being on, they kept insisting that nothing was wrong with it. Frustrated, I went home and talked to my dad, and we decided to return the car.
The next day, I brought the car back to the dealership. They took it without any issue and later sold it — all without contacting me or my dad.
Fast forward two years, when I applied for a car loan at my bank, I was shocked to find out I was denied because of a collection from Advantage Car. I had no idea about this and was devastated. When I tried to reach out and explain the situation, the dealership was extremely rude. They claimed that I signed a contract stating the car couldn’t be returned. But when I checked my original contract, there was no such clause.
Instead of helping me build my credit, they completely ruined it, and now they’re refusing to fix their mistake.

Was sold a complete piece of garbage!!! Broke down the first week of possession. Told Advantage would be covering at least half the bill just to see the ENTIRE bill was put as a side payment that i now have to pay on top of initial car payment. Car has since then broke down 7 different times with no assistance from the people that sold the heap of trash.Currently broke down right now as we speak AGAIN! Literally have paid more in repairs then I have on the car in the last year and a half. Never missed a payment in a year and a half yet only 9 payments have been reported to the credit bureau as on time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE . ZERO EDUCATION ON CUSTOMER SERVICE!! LET US BAND TOGETHER TO HAVE THE STAFF FIRED AND THE COMPANY SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!! WORST OVERALL COMPANY IN ILLINOIS !!

Not professional, waste of time and gas. Asks customers to move cars from their other location, because they can only sell to you from one ?? It’s not a customers job to move their cars for them. And shouldn’t a dealership know what issues a car has before trying to sell. What a joke

This is the most disgusting company I have ever had to deal with if you can wait and do not need a car immediately and you can look for other options do that this is a company that is going to harass you at an disgusting level the store in Champaign is closed They text me one morning about my payment. I hadn’t even woke up yet. I get to school when I get out of class soon as I get out of class which is two hours later one of them have already tracked my GPS and left a note on my car if you one or two days late on your payment, even if you always pay, it is absolutely horrible. You do not wanna go into business , let alone a contract with this company. They are the worst if you can absolutely avoid them the way they are going to harass and stalk you and illegally use the GPS system to find where you’re at because they want to repossess the car but just to try and scare you with knowing that they can find you which everybody already knows but the point of it is they do not care. If you always pay your car note they are going to treat you as if you have never paid it and you’re never going to pay it , you want to be able to be in a contract with someone who you feel respects you and your boundaries and too many times do companies make us feel like what they do is OK but this absolutely not they are disgusting and horrible. Worse of my life, I want to help others avoided , it sounds too good to be true. That’s because it is they have good deals. They will get you into a car immediately, but you will soon regret it either from too many problems mechanically with the vehicle or too many issues with the staff and them harassing you if you’re 30 minutes late on payment , this is ridiculous. Please please please avoid them. Do not make the same mistake I did and so many others. It would be different if I didn’t pay the car note and I wasn’t gonna pay it and I’ll be skipping out on payments. They have lied so many times to get extra money from me and then they always lie And act like they don’t know what I’m talking about. I don’t like to do business with liars so if you don’t like liars, this is not the company for you. Please avoid them. They are horrible.
