The salesman Zach was very professional with the transaction paperwork and helpful in orienting us in the auto. The auto was spotless. I was dissapointed in the amount of time it took to have the auto delivered and the time it is taking to get the title.

I cannot stress enough how miserable of an experience this has been. I DO NOT recommend buying a car through CarMax. There were delays in the car purchase due to title issues, then the car I was sold had issues when I left the lot. I hardly think it went through the supposed "reconditioning" and "125 point inspection. I began the process of purchasing my car three months ago and have had it in my possession 21 days. The rest of the time it's been in the shop. CarMax has been unwilling to make the situation better for me. Their only solution was to buy back the car from me, which did not make my situation better. It only would leave me without a vehicle after a three month ordeal. They refuse to say, "How can we make this experience BETTER for you?" The website claims a "stress free" purchase and this has been anything but. The loaner car they gave me even broke down the first day I had it. Run, don't walk away from CarMax.

I am happy with the deal that we were able to work out.
My only negative was that the car had some damage to the roof that I was not told about. They are having that fixed for me now.

Unfortunately drove 50 minutes to test drive a Toyota, car overheated less than 5 miles into the test drive and we had to be shuttled back to pick up our car. No shot did they not know the car had an issue before we tried it. Only saving grace is that they filled up our gas tank before we left.

My experience at Carmax in Bloomington IL was terrible. First, I called during the week to confirm our appointment and to make sure we were in the express pickup which the representative I talked with said that we were. However, when we got there, the dealership didn't have us in the express pickup. The three representatives who worked with me and my co-signer were rude, and unfriendly, and placed us in a hostile and confrontational environment. The first representative became argumentative when I refused the additional warranties. He then let us take the vehicle on a test drive. When we returned from the test drive, the representative was nowhere to be found and we had to wait for approximately 20 min for the manager to get someone else to work with us. That person was rude and gave us a hostile attitude toward us. When we would would ask questions he would give a big sigh and roll his eyes at us. When my cosigner asked about if the under guard was protected he rolled his eyes again and said he knew nothing about that. He wouldn't even go ask someone if that was done. When he went to another computer to process the car with the state (which should have been done already) he had been gone for a long time. Whenever we looked over there he was socializing with his co-workers and didn't seem to be doing anything. When my co-signer went there and asked what was taking so long, all his co-workers scattered and he got back to work on the computer. He continued to roll his eyes and sigh at us. Finally, there was the manager who came over to finalize the deal. He demanded that I show him my bank app to verify that the cashier's check was good. They claimed that the cashier's check could have been forged (as if he was accusing us of forging a cashier's check) and we couldn't go any further until he saw my account. How do I know he didn't look at other info on my bank account? It's an invasion of privacy. These three representatives at Carmax in Bloomington definitely made buying a car a miserable and frustrating ordeal. Looking back we should have just left and gone to another car dealership.

Wow! We did an online quote for a car we wanted to sell, sent in pictures, and made an appointment. Zach was great! He was waiting for us when we arrived. And we did a few things to get everything in order and we were out of there with our check within the hour.

We had our transmission in our last car die, and decided to trade it in since the repairs were more than car note itself. This unprepared event had led to a very stressful week, and the only time we got relief was when we made it here. Micheal Costello was amazing, he was so patient even through the anxiety in the beginning, absolutely no hassle, just complete patience and understanding and this calmed me down.
After I calmed down, he showed my husband and I more options that we weren’t aware of when it came to financing, and found the best plan for us. We were able to get exactly what we wanted too! Honestly, this is the best car dealership experience we’ve ever had!

The experience was pretty good. I lost $1,000 due to me accidentally listing the incorrect trim of my truck. Other than having to drive 2 hours and go withdraw cash because y'all don't accept credit cards for some reason, I have no complaints.

I’ve bought 3 trucks in the last 3 1/2 years . I’ve had a good experience on all 3. Although they could have payed a little more attention to cleaning the inside of this last one. Only a minor complaint. Everybody there did a great job other than that, I will buy my next one there.

Bought my dream car here and very happy with her! She was ready to test drive when I got there, the staff was friendly, no toxic masculinity that you find at traditional dealerships. No jerking me around, everyone was up front with me and I’m satisfied with my experience and adore my car.
