I agree with the other negative reviews of this company. They took my order then were unable to fulfill several items and gave me a credit rather than refunding my money. I placed a new order and they only fulfilled half of those items and credited me again. Of the items that I received, 4 arrived dead and covered in mold and several others were in poor shape compared to similar mail order plant companies. I regret ever purchasing from this company, as it is clear that I will never get my money back for the items they did not fulfill. I'd strongly recommend ordering from a more reputable gardening company.

please avoid this company, and any of it's subsidiaries. they are rip offs. all you will get is a huge run around. above all do not give them any money, you will be sorry ! I would like to see this company go away forever. their practices are horrible.i had to light a star just to be able to post this review. they do not even deserve one star. tell anyone that you know to avoid this company too !

Horrible experience. Plants came black mold. We called. They said to plant them and if they do not grow they will replace. We called back in the fall. Most did not grow. They only replaced about 1/2 of my plants that did not survive. Most of my plants did not survive and I have ordered bear root plants before. We ordered in winter and plants came well past planting time. do not order from them

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM 4 SEASONS NURSURIES!!! I ordered plants from 4 Seasons Nursery on April 2 and May 5th. Today June 23 I received a partial shipment of bulbs! At the time I placed my order all items were advertised to be "in-stock" with no expectation of any delayed shipments. However, I kept not getting the orders. My order status dates kept changing further and further back even though supposedly my orders had been put on "RUSH" status. I called, emailed and online chatted with them at least 10 times. I tried to cancel the orders but because on one order they finally shipped 2 of the 24 plants they refused to cancel anything else on the same order. After some very lively and unfriendly discussions they did finally cancel the second order. Everything is bulbs or seeds! Nothing is a live plant! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM 4SEASONS NURSURIES!!!! You would be better off ordering from ANY WHERE else!!

I should have looked into this co.pany before ordering from them. My order was March 7 and it is now memorial day and no sign of my order. I don't think it should be that hard or take this long to ship some tomato plants. My bad for not doing due diligence but this is not acceptable either way.

I feel like most of you give this a bad review because you don’t fully understand gardening terms. Such as bare root or dormant. for the price you’re not gonna get a fully established plant these are very low prices so obviously these are going to be starts or cuttings possibly even divisions. My first order was a test run and I ordered 2 tree hydrangeas they are the panicle variety now I got both of those for five dollars including shipping. did I expect to get fully grown tree hydrangeas at five dollars absolutely not. all I cared about was that they were alive I planted them and they are thriving. So I decided to go ahead and place a larger order now I understand that the guy told me they would be only two shipments but sometimes when you order large amounts they have to break them up into smaller shipments which is fine with me. I did call to check on the orders immediately after receiving my first one they picked up the gentleman was very friendly and very helpful. I received my red weigela today I got three for five dollars it states in the catalog that the plants will be 1 to 1 1/2 feet tall so far four seasons has exceeded my expectations they sent me three beautiful and healthy plants that are 3 feet or more in height. when you receive a bear root plant especially trees or shrubs you must soak them in water for one hour before planting. this is so the plant can become hydrated. now the shipping the box was very well packed but it was probably not up to par for what most of you would particularly like but the moisten newspaper did the job and I am very pleased. I will give another review as soon as the rest of my order comes through . Thank you very much four seasons and the sister companies for what you do and the low prices you provide . hopefully in the future I may be able to get a wholesale with you As I am trying to start my own plant nursery and greenhouses here in eastern Kentucky. PS also my great aunt has ordered from this company for many years and also understands the descriptions and what to expect. she ordered from here just recently everything she got is actually doing quite well yes it is small but it is doing very well so far fourseasons has two loyal and very happy customers

They dont tell you things are out of stock until after you place orders. And even the things they claim are in stock they never send to you! You will just end up having to cancel your orders. They are dishonest and just keep changing the ship dates.

I have ordered from here for the last few years, everything from trees to small flowers to berries.mostly positive results, very few issues.Bare root plants, I mean....look at the prices.A few of my last order had black mold, most were good. Trees I ordered were supposed to be 1-2' tall smoke trees, more like 5" root to tip.I'm giving them till this spring to see how they do.Nothing is 100%. Ever. When I do have issues, they seem to stand behind their warranty, for legitimate issues.For the money, the company is hard to beat

These people have no understanding of what customer service is. With technology today payments should be processed within 24 hours. Mine took 10 days! There is no communication from the company during the fulfilling process. You never get an idea of when you might receive your order. They don't respond to email messages and they never respond to voicemail. Last year it took 7 weeks to get 3 tiny plants (that died). Foolishly I ordered from these people again this year. I am regretting it. Placed my order 4 weeks ago. Have no idea of what's happening with the order. I ordered a few plants from Home Depot and had them on my porch in 3 days! Don't order from 4 Seasons Nursery.Update: It has been 8 weeks since I placed my order. I have contacted the company 3x by email and have received 2 canned responses and 2 that were a not canned but not personal either. They can't tell me if it will be shipped by USPS, UPS or FEDEX. They also indicated that the plants are growing. ????? Laughable.Update:. 6.20.21. I received my order shortly after my last update. 18 of 20 spiraea and honeysuckle roots are dead. 1 of 7 butterfly bushes is dead with 5 struggling. Geranium was near dead. Basically, $100+ down the drain. On the bright side the plants I ordered from home Depot are growing beautiful!Update:. 7.15.21. All honeysuckles dead. Butterfly bushes..3 dead and 2 struggling. Geranium is doing well. Spiraea...7 dead...3 struggling. Advice is do not do business with this company!!!!

Customer service never responded to my email about my credit card. I ordered in March and April. They arrived in June. Terrible time for planting. Some were black amd moldy. I still planted them. Of the over $200 spent only 1 root sprouted. It took many hours to plant everything. Now I realize I waited too late to request replacement plants. I guess it is just as well. They probably wouldn't have grown either. I'm just so disappointed that basically nothing grew even when I took extra care to water in the hot months.

These people are thieves. They take your money and cannot be reached by phone or email.

Gave 1-star because Google won't accept 0/5. Definitely 0/5 rated. I only received 1/2 of what I ordered and paid for. Emails and questions were not answered in a timely manner at all, as most messages were ignored. Answers ranged from "Processing now" to "Nothing can be done at this time" to "We issued a credit, so the problem is with your bank." This business is operating fraudulently, in my experience, and should be avoided at all costs.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! ORDER TOOK FOR EVER TO GET TO US. BOX DAMAGED, ROOTS DRIES OUT. 2 OF OUR FEMALE WINTERBERRY WERE DEAD. CALLED ELANA AT CUSTOMER SERVICE. SAYS NOTHING SHE CAN DO FOR US!!!! KEPT OUR MONEY!
