Such a great place! I recently found out I was lactose intolerant and it's hard to find many places in central Illinois where I can find a variety of dairy-free options. Everyone– both the staff and the patrons– are so kind. Three different people overheard me talking with my mother about not knowing what to try and offered their own recommendations and pointed us in the right direction. I live in Peoria, but the drive is definitely worth it.

We went to Fresh Thyme last weekend. I was so excited to see vegan flatbread and naan. I enjoy buying fresh peanut butter and almond butter. The best part is, Julia-Lady at the counter, Told me that they are charging $.10 per plastic bag, which is in the right direction for a green environment.
