Manager Jared S. discriminated against me, a black woman, on Wednesday, November 27 2024 at approximately 6:45 PM. He refused my business and wouldn’t let me shop in the store. He gave an insufficient explanation as to why I was not allowed to purchase anything in the store. He stated that certain items are only allowed for children to purchase (Pokemon Sparks cards), which is simply untrue. I wanted to purchase 15 Pokemon Sparks cards, but he refused. By not allowing me to purchase Pokemon Sparks cards for no good reason other than racial profiling, I will be contacting the EEOC and corporate.

Ask for all fees applied on the tradein before signing and finalizing.
They fraudulent add fees and deductions for items in perfect condition and do not disclose it to you.
Employee Isabel is on my do not interview/hire list.

I can't speak for all Game Stops but this one in particular stands above. The employees are nice, friendly, make you feel welcome and inviting. And they have an immense knowledge of the games and items they sell. They can recommend local businesses if they can't help with a particular issue and then have options for trade-ins if problems can't be resolved. I call here first thing anything Tech wise just to get their opinion.

Just wish parking was better and that they opened as early as they used to but otherwise it’s a great store for my gaming needs.

Beware of the employees here. They add refurbishment fees on higher priced items and doesn't disclose it beforehand.Even discs in excellent condition are falsely marked as needing refurbishment and its easy to lose track when many are processed.The employee doesn't disclose it and ask to proceed instead they act like they're examining it so much and fraudulently and it.Beware of shady practices from employees here. Online agents are also in on this scam saying some rubbish about store level and deal with the store. Its basically a storefront fraud.

Went in to buy ps5. One guy working today its 12/11/23. I didn’t catch the guys name but i appreciate him a lot he was knowledgeable not only games and consoles but he new his devs, gaming companies up to date topics with the gaming industry. I hope he goes far with that company he deserves to. Not many game stores know there stuff like this guy. And he was happy to answer any questions and was one step ahead of me lol enjoyable experience.

Store hours were updated 7 days ago. Showed up on a Friday at the posted opening time and the store was closed. If you don't open till a later time make the change in Google and on the site.

After finally finding this store (we are from out of town and even with gps it's not an easy find) we walked in to the best staffed gs we've been too. Unfortunately, this was also the first and ONLY gs that didn't greet us. Didnt acknowledge us, help us or make us feel welcomed. The three of them did carry on an engaging conversation about their aquarium and plants. So instead of buying the six things that we don't find in our area we walked out empty handed with all of our money in hand.
