The Hampton Inn Bloomington West provides an adequate stay with generally clean rooms and firm beds. Experiences vary, with many guests finding the staff friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The location is great for travelers. However, some rooms require maintenance, with reports of malfunctioning AC and minor issues. Noise can be an issue, from doors slamming to sounds from the roof. The small, shallow pool is good for children. The complimentary hot breakfast is standard and good, though it sometimes runs out of items early. A significant concern for some is the disgusting water, which tasted and smelled like mold, and there is no water bottle filling station. Some treadmills were also out of service.
Every Hampton Inn and Double Tree have been great places to stay. They always let us bring out grandkids swimming.

For the most part it's okay. Food is what the you expect from a hotel, and staff is super nice. Even very accommodating for my not dog-friendly dog. However our bathroom had very obvious mold, mainly around the shower but still enough that it's surprising there is that much to be seen.

A great place to stay with a neighborhood full of amenities! Easy on and off the highway!
