I wanted to thank Phil Meyer and Katie Abner at the Oakland branch for their help in getting a new account set up after a security issue with my computer. The problem was on my part and was not from using the banks site. Phil was very helpful in getting my banking safe again. He was also very friendly and informative on many of the issues. The two of them were also helpful in how to handle my situation.

I have been banking with HBT for many years now. I have always been treated kindly by all of the employees that I have encountered. If you're regular at a location, they get to know your name even. I have gone to many locations, it's very convenient that they're all over town and I can fit in a bank run wherever else I'm going.

Did not appreciate the customer service I was just received. Normally I drive up and don't do walk ins. Now I know better- to not go to this bank unless I absolutely need to.

I went there to put money onto my mother’s account to save me time driving. I should have just driven the money to my mom. They messed up the deposit not once but TWICE!!! I left and had to call to get it corrected. The lady who I was told her name is laurel counted it so fast that I couldn’t even keep up. She told me it was $570 the first time and $600 the second time. My deposit was $750. How could you be $180 off the first time and $150 off the second time? When I called she acted like it was no big deal and basically said it’s been corrected. She’s trying to steal money from people. No one can miscount over 100 dollars not once but TWICE!! I told the branch manager I was minutes away from calling the police!!! This place is a scam DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They will try to steal your money. Laurel is a thief!!!

I love Heartland bank as a company. I have been banking there 6 years. However, the Oakland Ave. location has messed up my account 4 times now. The first few times I was willing to let it slide now I feel as if going to this location is just not possible for me anymore. I will continue my business at my favorite locations in downtown Bloomington and off of Fort Jesse. I really think someone should look into why this bank keeps making mistakes. If you go here make sure you keep your deposit slips.

I've banked with many banks in my time and heartland it's hands down the Best one in my opinion.the staff is phenomenal and make you feel at home i highly recommended banking here.

Love this bank! Very polite and treats you like you matter no matter how much money you have. That's the type of bank I want. I left these guys once before and now I'm back for good! Do yourself a favor and go with these guys
