I came in here for the first time today as I have just moved out of state. Produce was fresh, deli was delicious, and sushi was okay. Will start shopping here from now on. I recommend this place

Thank you Kristen, Hy-vee Floral manager in Bloomington, IL. I love her wine and design classes and appreciate her willingly accommodating me so I can attend the December class. She is an awesome designer and her customer service skills are the best!

Stopped in for breakfast between client meetings. Hash browns burnt, toast arrived not buttered, when butter was brought it was frozen solid. Condiments empty on table, no napkins in holder on table and meal served with no silverware. Water tasted good though.

I have a special needs Daughter who loves this store. We drove a long way and had a great time shopping but at the checkout, we encountered a serious issue with the checkout person, "Paige", and the young man bagging items. My Daughter asked her could she double bag, and she said in a strange tone, "Everything, rolled her eyes and said to the bagger, double bag, and he stated the same question, then she turned and rolled her eyes at me as I was answering their question, which brought on more eye rolling and some whispering and some none professional actions. I asked where the manager was and Jack was standing ear shoot from this. I had a heated discussion with all 3 of them and WE promise we will, never, ever enter Hy-Vee again. Yelp next.

I have been a loyal customer for years! The lady that I have always talked with was absolutely amazing. She would make the flower bouquets or wrist corsages to match my daughter’s dance costumes or her homecoming dresses. I went in there today to place and order for 2 corsages and the gentleman working in the florist department was very rude to say the least. He said all he had was red roses or white roses and daisies for corsages. I said I just wanted flowers that matched my daughter’s prom dress and her friends prom dress. He said nope those are your only options. He said it’s Mother’s Day weekend. I said yes I know that, I don’t need them until the 14th of May. He said nope sorry those are your only options. I have spent a lot of money here for my daughter’s spring recital flowers, nutcracker flowers, homecoming flowers, and prom flowers! I have also recommended Hy-Vee to other dance mom’s as well! You have lost my business! I have decided to take my business elsewhere!

I live in Texas and I have been ordering flowers from Hy-Vee for a few years whenever I want to give flowers to my mom and grandma. They always go above and beyond what I expect. My mom and Grandma always love them and the pictures they send me are always of amazing bouquets. I will continue to buy flowers from Hy-Vee and I definitely recommend them.

Ordered balloons yesterday was quoted $17. I asked my husband to pick them up on his way to the party that was out of town. He was charged $29. He told them that was not the correct amount and they said “we misquoted you.” He couldn’t reach me ...so he paid and took them so he could get to the party on time.
Once I saw the arrangements I realized they reversed the number and type of balloons. I called them and explained the situation. They said to bring the receipt in and they would adjust the $10.00 difference for the two balloons. They were very polite.
My husband went back into the store today and the floral manager was less than professional and asked him to bring the balloons back. ???!!! The balloons were used yesterday and tied to directional signs in a rural area. He spoke with a another manager who quickly rectified the situation and apologized. It was a simple mix up that the floral manager could have easily resolved without insinuating that we were tying to scam them.

I recently hired Hyvee floral to provide flowers for my wedding. Although the flowers were made as I requested, the quality of the flowers themselves was not fantastic (many were wilted mid-reception, including my husband's boutineer). My biggest issue was the fact that they forgot one of my bridesmaid's bouquets- although they were willing to amend the situation and brought the bouquet by the ceremony, we had to make a makeshift bouquet as wedding party pictures were beforehand. I did love my own bouquet, it was quite beautiful.
