The McLean County Museum of History is a well-curated museum that brings local history to life. The exhibits are well researched, detailed, educational, and fun, covering the region’s past and cultural development. The historic building itself has amazing detail and adds to the experience. It is an educational and enriching visit for all ages, offering fascinating stories and rich history. Visitors can spend hours seeing it all and highly recommend it.
Very interesting collection of local history! Set aside a couple hours if you want to see it all. The building itself has amazing detail and workmanship you do not see these days in new construction.

Just wanted to add a photo of the nearby Miller Davis building, taken on a clear evening in February of 2025. Interesting fact -- Abraham Lincoln spent some time here in the 1840's when he was a young practicing attorney in his 30's, prior to his political life.
