“We bought a scarlet maple (2.5-in balled), and had knowledgeable service and a lot of stock to choose from. They planted the tree. They know what they’re doing! They also provided a thorough instruction sheet for after care. If you want a tree, use them!”

“These folks were SO kind and accommodating, as I switched the delivery address on them twice in order to protect the flowers from the cold. Nevermind how GORGEOUS and AMAZING the flowers were themselves. I am so grateful for you guys!”

“I love A B Hatchery! But i had a bad experience with the sales clerk, Uuna i believe her name is. She is very unfriendly and will not get up to help customers. She just checks u out .never welcomes you . Does not know the products and has been there for over 5 years . When i asked her help with grass sheed she just call another employee away from what he was doing . When she got 2 customers she called for help! I had to ask her for a bag for plants .she acted like it was a big ask ! I sure hope they do something about her . She should not be in customer”

“An acquaintance of mine showed me this place years back and I have yet to be disappointed when I shop here. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you find what you are looking for. Would recommend to a landscaper of any level.”

“I ordered a Stuttgart canna lily and it's gorgeous. I only ordered one because the reviews weren't very good but look at this beauty. I want a Busa Florida banana plant but I'm too afraid to spend that amount of money. This is the alternative and I already have a forest of other canna lilies so I was confident I could grew this one too.”

“I feel like most of you give this a bad review because you don’t fully understand gardening terms. Such as bare root or dormant. for the price you’re not gonna get a fully established plant these are very low prices so obviously these are going to be starts or cuttings possibly even divisions. My first order was a test run and I ordered 2 tree hydrangeas they are the panicle variety now I got both of those for five dollars including shipping. did I expect to get fully grown tree hydrangeas at five dollars absolutely not. all I cared about was that they were alive I planted them and they are thriving. So I decided to go ahead and place a larger order now I understand that the guy told me they would be only two shipments but sometimes when you order large amounts they have to break them up into smaller shipments which is fine with me. I did call to check on the orders immediately after receiving my first one they picked up the gentleman was very friendly and very helpful. I received my red weigela today I got three for five dollars it states in the catalog that the plants will be 1 to 1 1/2 feet tall so far four seasons has exceeded my expectations they sent me three beautiful and healthy plants that are 3 feet or more in height. when you receive a bear root plant especially trees or shrubs you must soak them in water for one hour before planting. this is so the plant can become hydrated. now the shipping the box was very well packed but it was probably not up to par for what most of you would particularly like but the moisten newspaper did the job and I am very pleased. I will give another review as soon as the rest of my order comes through . Thank you very much four seasons and the sister companies for what you do and the low prices you provide . hopefully in the future I may be able to get a wholesale with you As I am trying to start my own plant nursery and greenhouses here in eastern Kentucky. PS also my great aunt has ordered from this company for many years and also understands the descriptions and what to expect. she ordered from here just recently everything she got is actually doing quite well yes it is small but it is doing very well so far fourseasons has two loyal and very happy customers”

“I used them when I own a slab of land in SE Indiana (1990 till 14 years ago), the plants were good, the dwarf peach tree gave large quanty of fruit Peaches, (Ordered 2 Apricots semi dwarf trees from stark Brothers , had those threes for 14 year never got a cot,) Great 10 ft tall Pivot hedge 70 feet long. Moved to Central Indiana and the the plants I ordered then (14 years ago) have spread well. Negative point is one doesn't know precisely when the plants will arrive so one has to stick around fora couple of weeks. Prices were way lower then than else where. I Did order plant Strawberries as well (till have two left), but after three years of good strawberries the weeds got ahead of me so I put shrubs there. Besides, Straw berries are cheap enough at at the local farmer's market. Sorry to hear it may g bankrupt, but it is either run by some one like me over like 75 year or a new generation having employee issues such as minimum wage, thus people totally ignorant in plant husbandry:( a Post moratorium review?)”
