We love OUAC - BLOOMINGTON and their staff. Their buy prices are fair for a quick sale & they always have great selections. My children would rather spend their money here than any store. The owner and the ladies working are always attentive, polite and welcoming. I’ve been going here since they opened at their old location and can’t say more great things about their new location! 10/10

I used to LOVE Ounce Upon a Child, but over the years, I feel like it’s just continued to get worse. Even at the new location, it’s crowded. I find it so silly that they pay you $.25 for an item they’ll sell for $15. I brought in something I literally just bleached and cleaned spotless and they told me they couldn’t take it because I needed to sanitize it. Like what? Unless you have something brand new with tags on it, don’t expect them to buy it. And even then, the item with new tags, they’ll only pay $.25 for it. Waste of a trip in my opinion. Save your time and go support your local kids consignment pop ups twice a year!

I love buying from here for toddlers because they constantly grow but selling is not worth it. I had dropped off a bag full of clothes like new and shoes that was new toddler size just for them to give me chump pocket change. But other than that they do have great selections.

I loved shopping this store... I was a loyal customer. However, I posted a comment on one of their Facebook posts today letting customers know that they no longer buy used games or used books since they came to their new space. I also mentioned that they will not take any of your clothes if you bring in a large stash of clothes. Their reaction was blocking me and deleting my post.

I love shopping here but selling here is a waste of time. I brought in probably 25 childrens books and they offered me $5. why so you can sell a book you paid a quarter for for $5. nope id rather donate my stuff.

Sit in line for over 10 minutes for the girl to tell me that the line starts at the opposite end. All of the clothes, they are really outdated, they did have a few cute princess dresses, but other than that, it was overly crowded And overpriced. My return back might not, I've I've definitely seen better children's thrift stores though

I took a bag of my granddaughter’s clothes to sell. I took them in at 9:15 dropped them off the lady said it shouldn’t take long so I walked around the store for 15 minutes. I decided I would leave and do an errand I had to do.and come back. I left and called them and told them I would be back I checked my text and the estimated time was 10:30 so I went back at 10:45 walked in the door and the lady says I haven’t sorted them yet are you from out of town.? What does that matter at this point I ask why haven’t they been done yet it had been an hour and half already for clothes.! Now mind you a lady came in right after me and they did her nasty toys before me because they knew her. So I was upset so I ask how much longer she says 1/2 hour. So I leave go to my car and I thinking they aren’t going to be fair with the price because I wasn’t happy so I go in and ask for my clothes, they are sitting on the desk I put them in the bag and I say I will be giving a bad review (I did call her out her name)! They call me on the phone to tell me I’m not longer allowed in their store. Seriously I don’t want to go back to that poorly managed store.!

Very organized. Large selection. Some toys are broken. Some things are priced a little high for being used. Employees seemed friendly.

Not thrilled with my experience trying to sell her. I spent $120 Thursday and came home to find an item with a hole in it. I understand I’m buying used it happens…..
Then I try to sell clothes all economy friendly brands. Carters, old navy, jumping bean, cat and jack and they didn’t buy anything. Waste of time. Will be shopping the brands new instead of supporting a business who’s going to do that to me.

I use to sell and shop at all the Once Upon a Child’s when I resided in Nashville, TN and they were so nice and always gave me a great price for my stuff. Moving to Bloomington, IL, it has been a whole different experience. There has been multiple occasions where they don’t take my things because they have a certain smell? How do they have a certain smell if they are just washed and I also would have brand new almost, Jordan’s and clothes that still had the tags on them. I’m a very clean person and it’s very offending. Everytime I come shop or sell something everyone always looks mad and uninviting. I definitely will not be shopping here until I move out of state again. (Also when I lived in TN they had a washer/ Dryer in the back to wash the clothes before putting them on the floor)why doesn’t this location?
