The staff here is so helpful and nice! We are first time pool owners and had no idea what to do. The staff took the time to explain how the chemicals work, which chemicals/how much we need for our pool, and gave us print out on how to fix our green pool water and maintain our pool! They are extremely helpful and I highly recommend them! They really know their chemicals and can help you get your pool crystal clear!

To be honest, they don't even deserve a star poor management not helpful and the people working at the front desk are very rude. Never buying stuff there again.

I bought 2 solar panels they had manufactured defects in them. I emailed the manufacturer twice and called twice no response. Went to the Bloomington store they agreed with me and had two replacements right away. Great employees to step up and help!

I am replacing our pool equipment (everything but heater and pool frame) We went to Great Escape and Jim helped us out and ordered what we needed. Sadly out liner wasn't going to be in for awhile, but he did everything in his power to reach out and get a better idea of when it could come, but his representative never called him back. Which I feel is negligent on their part. Jim's hands were basically tied being at the mercy of her.I went and got adjustment I needed yesterday and they had my stuff ready the next morning. Their customer service young ladies were kind and helpful. The young man that loaded up our supplies was so nice, courtesies and knowledgeable. I would recommended Great Escape to anyone that ask me where to go!Thank you Great Escape for making this experience so easy for me as I had no idea what I was doing.

Visited today needing new sand for our filter. The clerk stated that was alot of sand and has not sold that much before. If he had concerns I felt he should have asked for my name and looked my info up to advise how much I would need, he never did. I then asked when the spin lab would be up and running. The clerk stated "not this year" no offer of other assistance like even suggesting test strips. I then stated I was having trouble getting my water to clear up. Again no response to my statement and no offers of any kind of help. Very poor customer service.

Bought a $6000 patio set here last Summer because I thought buying a premium product would be worthwhile. Fabric sling on the back of one of the chairs was damaged in normal use and not covered under the first year warranty. I'd expect this from a cheaper product, not from something I paid almost $800 a chair for.Save your money and buy something cheap you can replace for cheap from somewhere else.

My wife and I purchased a Viking hot tub because we read so many wonderful things about this American made hot tub. Well, as we know, nothing is perfect. We had an issue with the heater and it was causing extra power usage. We called Viking and they said, no problem, it's under warranty. They worked with Jim in Bloomington and Andy at corporate. Within a short time we were scheduled for service. The day of service we received a call from Justin Walls. He said I am about 30 minutes out, and I was told to give you a call about 30 minutes prior to arriving so I am doing so. He was professional and friendly. He said, as you know, I am replacing the power pack and you also asked for the Artic package to be installed. I explained to him that I had a meeting and will not be home but my wife would be. I asked him if he could send pictures of the hot tub prior to closing it up so I can see what he did. He said no problem. When he arrived at the house, he was very professional and explained to my wife what they were there for. After a short time, I received a text with several pictures of my hot tub showing me the installed Artic package. Justin said the hot tub was finished with the install and said he didn't anticipate any issues, but I now had his number and not to be afraid to use it if I had any issues at all. Justin Walls communication prior to, through, and post install was outstanding. I started the hot tub up when I arrived home and all is good! Also. Jim at the Bloomington store moved my appointment up in time at my request and Justin went out of his way to accommodate. An overall great experience.

I have never written a review before but I feel that I need to war others! Please DO NOT buy a pool from this location! The manager, Rick, only cares about a sale and does not tell you about the $6,000 to $10,000 is extra costs due to yard clean up and the hiring of subcontractors. They do not show you how to use anything of the pool equipment and YOU are in charge of hiring all the subcontractors needed for all the outside pieces that need to be completed. The Great Escape doesn't want to be liable for ANYTHING and they want the homeowner to contact JULIE and only want to sell you a pool and split!!! After the sale, any time I called, Rick was not a nice salesman anymore, he was annoyed with me and used condescending terms like, "Enlighten me!" I am amazed that her continues to be employed but the great commission must help him keep up his fake facade.The manager Jim is no better! I would not recommend the Great Escape due to the poor management.

My husband and I came in wanting some info on above ground pools and our sales person Dalton was AWESOME!!! He was very knowledgeable! He was able to answer ALL our questions and even gave us more information we hadn’t thought of asking. He spent a lot of time with us and never felt rushed. He was professional and easy to talk with. Needless to say we walked out of there purchasing a pool!!! We will be going back there for all our pool supplies and will always request Dalton!!!

Great place to conduct your business. The employees know what customer service is supposed to be. They are always cheerful on the phone and in person. The manager Rick Picken knows his business and will bend over backwards to accommodated your personal need. By the way their product they sell is quality you will want.
