The general manager Andrew of this location is awesome! My pickup U-Haul reservation for a different location was not the best experience. This initial reservation forced me and my family to try business with a different U-Haul location the same day at the very last minute. It was all overwhelming because we were pressing for time, but Andrew managed to get me the rental vehicle needed and get me in and out!
Coming to this location ( N. Main) Andrew was quick, very understanding, accommodating and very courteous! My family and I appreciates the customer service, and will be returning here for future trips.

Just had the worst U-Haul experience.
The workers at this store were lovely. The rest of the experience has been an absolute nightmare
Apparently their trucks do not get regular maintenance. The spark plug blew only 30 mins outside of Bloomington as we were heading up to Chicago. I have now missed my window for moving into my new apartment. My mom and I have waited hours on the side of the road in the heat.
This is a known issue with their trucks (lack of maintenance) it’s been 4 hours of waiting and dealing with U-Haul. They are still working on getting the truck put on a flatbed to bring up to Chicago. Apparently the bolts and hardware are rusted so bad that it’s almost impossible to get up on the truck. And the driver said it’s on par for U-Haul.
No compensation or offering of refunding my U-Haul rental. We went without hearing from the representative for almost an hour so we called back, only to get an aggressive agent yelling at me when I only was asking for an update.
U-haul you should know better than giving customers trucks that break down. This should have been caught through routine maintenance. You could have put my mom and I in danger by giving us a faulty truck.
For future customers be warned that your truck may break down on the side of the road and you may be waiting hours till they figure out what to do. That U-Haul representatives may get hostile when you ask for updates. Worst of all you may not get your money back after dealing with a nightmare situation like this.

Scheduled online. Two weeks later and day before my appointment I received a call that they don’t really use that online scheduling. They don’t have availability for what I scheduled online. Then he could not get his computer to work to reschedule. Seems this business is technology challenged. Seemed like a red flag not to use them so I went elsewhere.

Andrew Arrington at the Main Street Bloomington ROCKS!!! I use Uhaul often. He's the reason I am a repeat customer and have stayed with this company. He goes above and beyond! Excellent customer service and not afraid to admit a mistake and make it right! He's a keeper!

The hitch is NOT installed. My daughter and I drove separate vehicles so we could run a couple errands while the hitch was to be installed. WITHOUT notification,some changed the install date from July 9 to August 5. I chose the July 9 date based on when both of us were available. Now, to meet the Aug 5 date, I have to move some appointments around. We live 40 minutes away. This cost us fuel, money, and lots of time. I am not pleased right now.

Needed a wiring harness for my car, but AutoZone and Advanced Auto were no help. Went here and they had exactly what I needed. I was in and out in 20 minutes since they only had a couple workers on a Saturday morning.

I booked a rental for Sunday, August 20, 2023. The store opens at 9 AM on Sunday. When I asked if I could get it earlier, they said Saturday night just before close was an option.The Sunday rental rate is $.89 a mile. The Saturday rental rate is $1.29 a mile. Because I rented the truck for Sunday and had discussed my request for Sunday rental and I was quoted a Sunday rental mileage rate I expected to pay Sunday mileage rate.When I got my bill, they charged me Saturday rental rate ( $1.29/ mile) It was nice to pick up the truck Saturday so I could hit the road Sunday morning. Had I've been told I would not get the Sunday mileage rate, I would not have picked up the track on Saturday. This seems like bait switch sales technique. I called and spoke to the manager. He said he doesn't know who took my reservation and the Saturday rate applies.If they were only honest!!!!

I stopped into this U-Hail location earlier this year with an urgent trailer hitch part need on my way out of town close to closing time. Cordell (sp?) was the only one working but took the time to listen to my problem, check the system, and even went back to the shop and found what I needed with no hassle. Very much appreciated his service! Great location. Visited several times with no complaints!
