My package was delivered to this facility and they mishipped to a different facility instead of my house which then became a triangle which took it back to Champaign instead of this location which is making it take even longer to get to my house.

The lady working the front desk was a ***** from the start. I came in with a simple request of changing my address and was met with snide remarks and an unwillingness to help. Don’t go here unless you want to be talked down upon. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I never had problems with mail or packages until Renee started working here. Immediately my subscription magazines stopped arriving in my box. Other recurring magazines like my college alumni association magazines were sporadic. Packages and other mail would be opened. When some packages arrive, although I get a text notification, the items are not in my box. Once I had to track down my package that sat on the shelf for 4 days because Renee said she "forgot" to put a yellow notification card in my box. When I've filed formal complaints with the Office of Inspector General about the missing subscriptions, after I receive confirmation from the govt office that they've contacted the Post Master (she's another nightmare) in Bloomington, IL, then my missing subscriptions magically appear in my box, even after they're several months late, and the spines are always been back as if they've been read. It happens every time. That is the only time I get my subscriptions, after she's taken them and read them and had them for months. It isn't until management confronts her that she returns the mail she's taken. They've refused to put cameras in this location, even though there's theft of mail. The regional manager is no better. He pretends he's "looking into" a matter and I've never heard from him again. Although the counter is supposed to be opened at 9am M-F, and the front lobby door even earlier to allow people to get their mail from their boxes, at minutes before 10am, the door is locked and we have to go knock on the window with our car keys to get Renee's attention and tell her to open the door! Other times she isn't within view and the front lobby door is locked and we cannot get our mail from our box. I've been told several times by staff that management cannot do anything about Renee's incompetence because each time she's reprimanded about her poor performance, she reminds staff that she's a member of a protected class. That should not have merit when it comes to poor performance. This is a government office and the public has a right to receive their mail regardless of who or what a staff person is. That mail in my box belongs to me, not the staff member that receives it from carriers. Today I went to get my mail and it was closed, on a Saturday, although it's supposed to be open. Complaining to the government does no good but at least I can help another person avoid this aggravation and being a victim of US Mail theft by giving people a warning to not go to this location. Go to the other location and definitely do not rent a box here.

EVERYTIME I have a package for delivery it end up being out for delivery and then gets bounced around to different post offices for extra days remind you it’s PRIORITY mail it should only take 2-3 days

I been coming here for awhile now and so far no issues. I will say that during COVID-19 there has been only 1 or 2 usps employees at this location,So that may have something to do with them not being able to answer the phone. The employees are friendly enough no complaints there either.

First my package was lost, then I had no way of speaking to an actual person because their phone system basically wants you to figure it out yourself. When my package couldn't be found they just marked it as delivered and I had to submit a new claim. Overall I will never choose usps and I despise ordering from sites that use them. Fix your phone system and actually TALK to your customers please

My package not only got delivered to the wrong address, but the wrong town. (Sender has a receipt with my correct address on it, so it’s on usps) I tried calling the office to have this corrected before my package was delivered, but nobody picked up the phone and the answering machine was full! I also tried calling for three hours. Inexcusable.

Why does no one answer the phone for claims or inquiries for more information? Incredibly unprofessional. If you're open, you should answer the phones during business hours.

Went today to ship something for the first time ever and JR was very helpful and informative, even though it was really close to closing time. Great experience!
