Abysmal customer service. I had long ago transferred my medications elsewhere, but thought I could use them to do something simple as a vaccine.\\n\\nWrong. Despite arriving 15 minutes before my appointment I am writing this review as I still wait a full hour with no staff able to give me an update as to when I'll be seen. Just recently I was called and asked if I was done with the paperwork. I told them, yes I tried to turn it in twice and was told to just sit down by your staff. \\\" Oh, we need that to check you in.\\\"\\n\\nComplete incompetence. I've worked retail before and can empathize with being short staffed or busy. However, this is clearly an organizational issue. Stay clear of this place.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy to go to. They don’t take their job seriously. And they don’t care about anybody else’s well-being but they will tell you they’re short staffed every time.

Incompetent staff.I am in town to help my aging parents, and I forgot my medications at home in the rush to get here. I called Walgreens (the same pharmacy I use at home) to ask for an emergency 3-day supply to get me through the weekend. Two of the medications were easy - no problem. The third has taken 4 (and still counting) hours to resolve. They needed to call my doctor to get his approval, except they never contacted him at all. I ended up calling him and he called the pharmacy to approve it and reiterated what was happening and what it was for. Walgreens then tried to process a 3-day emergency supply as a full 30 day refill, which means insurance caught it. I called Walgreens again to have them update the refill, but instead of helping they put me on hold and then canceled the order. I got transferred to somebody else who said, direct quote, "Sorry, there's no record of anything here. And there's no way for us to know what was done earlier today." They're now supposedly getting back in touch with my doctor, but I already see that the refill request has now been updated to A 90 DAY SUPPLY. Again, I just need 3 pills. Maybe in another 4 hours we'll get it resolved - and that's the only time I have left because they're not open over the weekend.

I am a type 1 diabetic who is insulin dependent with daily injections. I need my supplies to continue my regular day to day, but for some reason it seems the "trained pharmacy staff" at this location never has their stuff together. My App always says prescription is ready and whenever you go into fill it's always another wait, backorder, or some discrepancy a child could fix. I understand why the pharmacy is now reduced hours and closed on weekends while others are not, because working with that amount of degeneracy must be contagious. Never had a problem back home, never had a good experience here. It is blasphemous to put people's health on the line with inexperienced staff that Walgreens has wasted their funding for training on. Absolute chimp work.

I'm officially done with every Walgreens in my city. The pharmacy is NEVER open any more in any of the stores. I have had to jump through hoops to get every medication for the past 6 months. I have medication that is necessary to take every day, how is ANYBODY that works during the weekday supposed to pick up their prescription when you are literally only open 10-6 on weekdays. I have given this Walgreens, BOTH Walgreens on main street AND the Walgreens in ft Jesse the benefit of the doubt on numerous occasions. Yesterday, I made sure a prescription was filled at this location when the app decided to work (it doesn't work half of the time). I made sure the script was filled and because I wasn't going to make it to the pharmacy before they closed yesterday, I CALLED THE PHARMACY and verified they were open TODAY. I know you can not trust hours on Google anymore which is why I verified over the phone at the pharmacy directly that they were still open over the weekend. Guess what?!? Get there today and nope, effective the 15th no more weekends! This is the 6th time this had happened. The LAST time I tried filling at this location they filled my prescription and I literally took off work early over the weekday to pick it up. Only to find out they were closed due to a system outage.. THEN I couldn't get it filled at any other store because my insurance had covered the filled prescription sitting at the closed store, they couldn't cancel due to the system being down so I had to pay out of pocket. This is just THIS location. I have had soooooo many problems with every location this has to be to the point of almost criminal. You continue to tell people you are open only to deny treatment CONSTANTLY. It's ridiculous and on Monday I'm calling my doctor to change to a different pharmacy. Get you stuff together!!!!

I've used this pharmacy since moving to Illinois, and man. I've never had an issue with having to wait in line, I don't mind waiting for my turn, when I got to the counter the tech said that I had a consult and would need to talk to the head pharmacist. Cool, I wait, the tech comes back after speaking to the the pharmacist, who is on a personal call using AirPods in the pharmacy, which I'm pretty sure is a violation of hippa, she gets back to me and says, never mind, no consult needed. My medication dosage was lowered and I wasn't informed of the potential blood clots my medication could cause. The very pregnant head pharmacist is not doing her job and she easily could cause someone's personal information to be leaked via cellphone calls or worse cause someone to lose their life due to unknown medication complications. TLDR Hippa is being violated, AirPods and personal calls in pharmacy and the head pharmacist doesn't give consults.

Your store needs to remove the “24 Hour” sign off of the building since that’s a lie. 6:00am — 12:00am is definitely not 24 hours.

This place is not good. We live out of town, and had our Dr. office (who is in Bloomington) send an rx over for amoxicillin. We waited a little over an hour before heading into town.We went to the pharmacy and were told it would be another hour. We waited in the car. We checked back in an hour and were asked if we really needed the antibiotic. I said, "Yes. Obviously my doctor's office thought we needed to start it today. That's why we are here." What kind of a question is that? Then she proceeded to tell me "Maybe you should find a pharmacy closer to you." We were then told they wouldn't get to it because they were closing in 15 minutes. Unbelievable. Very poor customer service. I would NOT recommend this pharmacy.

whats up with the incompentemce of your staff at the Oakland Ave location??? they didnt have a page or i would havw visited it. ive been on the phone all week trying to get my cholestrerol med. the last idiot last night promised i would have it today. GUESS WHAT I DONT HAVE??? Im completely over the incompetence of this pharmacy. a toddler could do better!!!

Always a 30+ minute wait.They have yelled at me for cutting the line when using express pay THREE TIMES. Each time the pharmacist has to come explain to them that express pay skips the line and has no questions/interactions. They dont know their own policy and state at me like I'm an a-hole while checking out others in line. Express pay is the biggest waste of time.I just loathe this location, even when they're full the pharmacy takes ages. Regularly takes a week to get a Rx filled.

Hours are unreliable lately and don't match what is posted online. Call ahead or might be safer to go to a different pharmacy.
