Brought my car in to have a diagnostic run in order to fix a code. I rebuilt the entire engine with all OEM parts. The gentlemen in here over torqued my valve cover cracking it and my intake so tight im lucky my head wasnt stripped out. They tried to blame heat expansion after I had just driven a 3 hour drive with absolutely no issues prior to bringing it in. They sabotaged my whole car loosening my hose clamps and my ground connections. I left their lot and car would not stay running. Chugging and eventually not starting at all. Upon my own inspection I found 7 loose connections and 4 over torqued bolts that in no way could have been there on my three hour drive previously. There's no way that they overtured, by at least twenty foot pounds from heat expansion on only three random bolts on my intake, and four on my valve cover. They torqued down my valve cover so hard. The seal was ripped into and they put so much pressure through my car. Doing a smoke test that they blew out my timing a seal and a bunch of other seals trying to find the crack they caused over tightening the valve cover bolts. They put my life in danger, sending me out of there in a compromised vehicle. NEVER LET THEM UNDER YOUR HOOD. they will tell you whatever they have 22 get you to look at this, let them work on your car. When they can't figure it out, they try to turn it on you to save face. They call themselves master technicians, but I've never been to school to be an automechanic yet.I had to fix my car twice after leaving their shop. After paying $600 for diagnostic tests, I had to diagnose it and fix it myself, and fix extra stuff that they caused.

Literally saved me from having to buy anothe car…
Took my car in as a last ditch effort to see if they could diagnose what I thought was a transmission issue. Dave and the guys at Auto Tech exceeded expectation. They thoroughly looked over the car and after a few days narrowed it down to worn out and mismatched tires (took it to another shot and they just took my money and told me the same thing I told them…transmission issue).
Dave and his crew drove the car and evaluated every system and was able to pinpoint the issue. Bought new tires and the car is working fine.
These guys are awesome and are really good at what they do!

Dave and his team have seen every car my family has owned since I was a kid, including my own car now that I’m grown. Very honest, goes above and beyond to locate parts, and clearly explains diagnostics in a way that’s easy to understand. We’ve always trusted him with our vehicles and I drove back into town from DeKalb just to bring them my car. Highly recommend.

Worst mechanic shop ever. Estimates are ridiculously expensive. Poor communication, Dave does not seem to be a honest man, and hold your vehicle for days if you don't call them just for a diagnostics test. I will never return and I suggest everyone to be cautious coming to this shop.
Estimate was almost 5k to replace a tourque converter on my transmission 2015 town and country mini van... I can buy a new transmission for that price, maybe even an engine smh.
Just got off the phone with another mechanic, got a quote to replace tourque converter part and labor 950.
Auto tech get it together! Stop taking advantage of people and answer your damn phones.

This is the worst place that I've ever brought our vehicles there. You ask him what's the damages on the vehicle? Hihama beats around the Bush. He keeps your car for weeks at a time and tells my husband as a customer that we're not allowed. In that place, this place is a joke.Go find yourself some place else

I made the mistake of initiating a request for an appointment via the main website. I requested appointments for Saturdays (by the way, their hours say that they are open on Saturdays on Yelp, Auto Tech, Chamber of Commerce... you name it. How they came up with that decision, I have no idea, but I can tell you that they were my last resort. They (Auto Tech) come highly rated and that's great if you can actually come in when you are not working. We are a couple and we don't have time to do all of that during the week. Saturday's are our go to.Actually, I can think of a possible reason that I believe doesn't fly anymore. Covid-19. That is one of the excuses that I am hearing from businesses; "Well, thanks to Covid, we cut our hours and are no longer open on weekends. This is really sad since you could be making money hand over fist. I believe that it is possible to be open on Saturday. Hire at least one pro that is willing to do the work and would be off one or two days during the week. You could be one of the few that is willing to help out those that can't afford to take time off to get things done.Dear Auto Tech, please rise to the challenge and live up to your promises to be open on Saturdays.
