This location deserves a 10 STAR review but Google would only allow up to a 5 star. Everyone here from the branch manager down to the tellers are very pleasant and professional to work with. I highly recommend them!!!

Sent my adult son here to pay our property tax as I have done twice a year for 10 years dating back to the 1st Midwest days. They refused to take the cash payment from him because he didn't have an account there. Was told he must have an account. I don't have one either and never was told i needed one. Went the following day and paid them myself with no issues. It was a lie just to trick him into opening an account to reach their quota. Called and talked to a banker named Vandana to clarify this situation and she says my son must had gone to another location, laughed at me and hung up .

My bank since I was 16 years old I am now almost 30 never had a bad experience always so friendly have lost my debit card few times getting a new one there is always an easy process I have only had to dispute once a charge went to a liquidation store bought a bed frame came home to build it turns out it was half the bed I went back to the store they said their policy is no refunds and they didn’t have the other box that was supposed to go with the bed was totally scammed disputed the charge and got my money back

I did send the following to the bank customer service through the bank web site. I will post again any reply I may get from them. On April 9th, 2016, I went to the Bolingbrook branch (Located at 282 N. Weber Road Bolingbrook, IL 60440). I went to the branch to deposit tax refund checks in my wife's name and my name to my checking account (The checks were endorsed by my wife who was outside in the car with our two babies and I had her ID with me just in case I was asked about it but I was not). I completed similar deposits for the last five years with no issues. This time was no exception and the teller completed my deposit in a timely manner. After I arrived home, I received several calls (Several voice messages. from 12:17 pm till 12:33 pm.) asking me to call the bank as soon as possible. I did call the branch and Marcy (claims to be the teller's manager) answered. She said that my checks cannot be deposited because they are a tax refund for two persons and the account is not joint account. she stated that the Standard bank policy states that the account must be joint for the two names on the check (never knew of a similar policy for any bank I work with). When I asked, what I need to do, she said either come pick up your checks or add your wife to the account..!!. when I asked more clarifying questions, she hang up on me (The line did not get disconnected). I immediately called her again and I asked to speak to her manager, she stated that there is no managers available but her. I drove to the branch to pick up my checks as she said. when I arrived, she was on the phone with her manager...!!! (that is what she told me). I picked up my checks and deposited them in another bank. I believe as a long time customer with Standard bank (about 15 years), I do not deserve to be treated rudely and impolitely by incompetent person. In addition, she lied to me about her manager's availability. I am kindly asking for an investigation in regard to this incident. I would to be informed by the investigation outcomes. In addition, I am asking for formal apology from standard bank. Best regards
