What happened? They used to be very inexpensive, have weekly specials on pricing, senior discounts. Now, it's junkier stuff with high prices. Some of their tags have higher prices than the original store tags from where they were originally sold! They have more and more of those ridiculous, mystery paper bags full of junk that they couldn't sell. Greed has taken over even though everything they sell has been donated by every day citizens.
Gee, I wonder what the Goodwill CEO's salary is up you this year.

Goodwill is not what it used to be. Since they have started sending anything of value to be posted on the goodwill website to go to auction there is nothing im interested left in the stores.

This goodwill is VERY proud. Highest prices around, which is sad considering goodwill is all for profit and everything has been donated. Most shirts are $8-10 a piece! Books around very high priced as well. You’re better off buying new than going here. The Plainfield goodwill is so much better and tbh most goodwills are better priced than this one. Save yourself the trip and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Even thrifting is getting more expensive, but the store is pretty well organized.

This Goodwill has a bit more of a focus on clothing so if that's what you are on the search for, give them a try

Loved coming here but as soon as they took the half off tags everything is just sitting there, not a lot of people go anymore, meaning bad business for the company. It’s a reseller for free gifted items and they still overpriced and overcharge people.

Pristine and orderily Goodwill. Plenty of parking. Easy to find location. Staff is nice. Always working to organize the inventory. One of the best!

No more Military discount as of 2025 sadly. Prices are kinda crazy on some stuff, $6 used T shirt w stains. Lots of employees but only 1 register open.

I was in another place and my daughter had an accident but of course it was the one time I didn’t bring clothes with and boy was I glad this store was next door. I was able to walk right in and to the section I needed. Line was a bit long but backup was called immediately

COLOR OF THE WEEK DISCOUNT AND SENIOR DISCOUNT DAY HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED IN 2025. Gone bye bye the way of furniture and free plastic bags for your purchases.

This is rather a question but do they sell used books as well?

This store has been a nice experience. We had recently moved to the area and found it easy to donate many items that no longer fit our new lifestyle.
The curbside front door donation area is convenient (though I've a suspicion that the local police would prefer donors to use the parking lot).
When we decided that we needed an additional table lamp we found a nice one very easily. The friendly staff helped make checking out a breeze.
Plenty of parking.
