“Wow, such a fun place! My son is really into Mario Lego sets and I have discovered that I like to build them for him. My husband and I went in to look around and we ended up buying a used Mario Lego set. They have used sets that are certified complete with all the pieces, and that was exactly what we received. I was super impressed with the price we paid and the quality of the set I purchased. I already have it fully assembled and I know my son will have fun playing with it.I plan to stop in more often to see what other sets they have available. This is a local gem if you like Lego sets, I highly recommend stopping in!”

“This is a second review I’m leaving under my real name (see other review under @the English Professor).I’ve been a satisfied customer of Fox Valley Coins since 2021 and would send my family to all of these guys if I were on my death bed and needed to recommend where they should go to sell my collection. Christian, Mike, and all of the guys there are consistently friendly and professional and I always feel well taken care of when I’m in the shop.I’m responding to the negative review from customer Scott for the purpose of highlighting the owner’s classy response and follow up response to Scott’s misunderstanding of what occurred during his experience at FVC. Who takes the time to compose a thorough and sincere response like that to an insatiate review like the one Scott left? The answer is: an owner who cares about his customers and the legacy of his business. He explained what happened, acknowledged that there was likely a misunderstanding during the transaction, and wasn’t insulting or condescending to Scott in responding to the review. That’s class, in my book, and that’s why I continue to patronize Fox Valley Coin on a regular basis. I have four different local coin shops I rely on and FVC is always at the top of my list.”

Even if you don't participatethey are a delight to read. I've successfully acquired many choice items fromthem. “As an artist & photographer- This is one of my go to stores. It’s easy to spend too much time looking at what they have and what is new. They are always ahead of the holidays for the crafty people. I saw Valentine’s Day, St.Patricks Day and even Easter decorations out in Jan. Their framing department is top notch and I have had several personal pieces framed here with peace of mind. They have a new state of the art self check out computer at the counter which shows the product pictures on screen and will likely speed up your process after spending all that time filling up your cart. ;)”

It smells just fine (gaming stores do not always smell fine). The mall food court is nearby so it's easy to grab a quick snack between games.”

“I just visited the new store location. Great selection of wax, but box prices are mostly at or above eBay prices. I don't blame them, but just wanted to mention it. The pricing on supplies is pretty great. I'd love to see more $1 singles to go through. There is a section of cases that people lease from the store. The pricing on most of those cards was pretty high.”

I called and spoke with a customer service representative and they are a small legitimate business. With all the scams out there, this is not one of them.”
