Been a couple hours browsing and looking at things. It’s a good way to kill time or so with inflation. Everything is much more expensive for things that are made in China. And the price is for the food has gone up as well. And lately I noticed that the ice cream machine is not working or rather the yogurt machine which has been disappointing, especially for my kids

I had the privilege of visiting this ikea after purchasing over $1k in merchandise. We decided to go in the store prior to picking up to check out some other things and have lunch. Everyone working there seems to hate it. Not one smiling face. Not one helpful member. The guys at the restaurant looked like robots, the guy standing in front of the self checkout aisles continued to yell at everyone as if it were a local grocery store outlet everyone frequently shops. When we finally got out of the madness we drove over to the pick up lanes. I checked in, and requested help with loading of items, as I was instructed to do via the link. The person that came out, also hated their job, told my husband we have two carts, dropped the first one off went and retrieved the second and just walked away. Never met such miserable people. It was truly a sole sucking experience. Will not return.

Well, if you liked 2020-2024, this store is for you. Make sure you don’t ask where your order is because they will just move it to a 7:50pm pickup time. One and a half hours for a single Maximera drawer, after waiting that time and then asking about it, we were then informed of a 7:50pm pickup time.

When you are out of salad, to-go containers, salmon, cod, and other things:
Put up a sign at the front of the line!!!!
Don’t make people wait 30 minutes only to be told by the miserable guys serving food and the prep guy at the back making dirty looks at the people asking for salads because he “didn’t prep it this morning”
This is at 12:30 on a Sunday BtW. Not some weekday.

The Schaumburg location is so much better. This place is messier, seems more disorganized, and is alway out of things. The last straw was I ordered something for pick up. I drove over an hour there just to pick it up, but when I got there they told me my order had been canceled because they were out of stock. But I never got an email or any kind of notification telling me. So I spent over 2 hours driving for nothing.

Absolute worst delivery. They won't redeliver until 3 days later, but the rescheduling is grayed out. Called Ikea and they said they sent a request to the delivery company (CRST) to deliver. Called the delivery company and the company says they never received any manual request. They also said they must have permission from Ikea to redeliver, but Ikea lies to us saying they sent a request to the company. Called the truck driver directly and the truck driver says he doesn't see why he can't redeliver the next day. Why does Ikea have to micromanage redelivery against customer wishes?

For being such a huge store they barely have people on the floor helping you find what you need. Not one person could direct me when I asked for directions.

This Ikea used to be great but we visited this past Saturday and the cafeteria was dirty, as were the bathrooms. The store was disorganized. The employees were not helpful and the products were mislabeled. Very disappointing.

Good store with a mazelike layout. I wish I could have become a glizzy gladiator by ordering 78 hot dogs for $39.
