“Excellent Color Consultation Experience! We’re planning a full interior paint refresh and had the pleasure of working with Holly from JC Licht. She visited our home, immediately understood our needs and design goals, and presented us with several refined and cohesive color options. With her 25 years of expertise, Holly professionally guided us in choosing the perfect palette. She left us with 8×9″ color swatches and sent us additional copies of each color within a few days—such thoughtful service! Her deep knowledge and attentive approach made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Great service all around.”

“This store has to be number one when it comes to customer service. Simply put I had picked up some bathroom paint for a client. Upon inspection I came to the conclusion that paint won’t match existing walls. I took my paints back all untainted and unopened. They made it happen very clear and clean understanding. These guys and gals know their stuff and will never lead you in the wrong direction. They have an appreciation for repeat business and make sure you feel it from the moment you walk in till you leave. Pure excellence!!!”

“Absolute impeccable customer service. I came in today (Christmas Eve) at about 9:30AM. Jeanice helped me out with some questions on exterior stain. She even provided a sample on the board I had. I went home and showed my wife and she asked me to get a second larger sample. I showed back up at 11:58 (they closed at 12 noon on Christmas Eve) and Jeanice helped me yet again without hesitation. I started my day by going across the street to their competitor and quickly left as they were no help at all. Jeanice and Benjamin Moore saved the day. You just earned a customer! Great staff and great products! Merry Christmas!”

“The staff here are fantastic and always helpful. I came in today to purchase a quart of paint so that I could touch up a room I painted nearly 4 years ago. The staff had kept my color on file and quickly formulated the paint I needed. The color is a perfect match to the color from 4 yr ago and made touching up a breeze. Smart service like this really made my life easy today. This place is truly my go-to for paint. Also, the color is durable. I touched up a room that gets significant light, and cannot tell a difference between the color I added today, and the color from four years ago. Fantastic product.”

“I knew I needed some advice for the project I was about to tackle and I had been to this store in the past. It is about 8 or 9 miles from my home but well worth the drive. In fact, I drove past a Home Depot, Menards, and Lowes, all of which are much closer to my home, on my way to Sherwin Williams.”

“The sales girl at this store was amazing. I brought in a 3 year old ripped label looking for a paint to do touch ups. She helped track down the original store it was purchased from, called them to find the colors and recipes and googled images to help make sure we had the right image. So friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!”

“I went in with my toddler for paint samples and we were met with the friendliest team. We only got 2/3 of their names, Abby and Chris. My 3 year old was asking me for water and they brought him a water bottle - Abby even surprised him with a mini paint bucket and little tool. They had good recommendations after listening to my project details and they were very knowledgeable. This is not the closest SW location to my house, but we’ll return anyway for the customer service.”

“Nice store. I needed gardening gloves and landscaping waste bags. They were very conveniently placed near the cashier. The gardening glove selection is limited, but I was able to find a pair that fit my hands, and contained a protective leather tip for the index finger. Great for digging around river rocks. It’s a small store and the selection of product varieties is highly curated. But it’s my first stop to purchase items for my home’s hardware needs.”

“I worked with Karen at the JC Licht in Westmont to choose both wallpaper and paint colors for my new home. She was fantastic! She made the process easy and fun. She really knows her stuff, had great suggestions and handled getting my paint samples prepped and wallpaper ordered. Her color suggestions were perfect and she really understood the look and feel I want to create in my home. I am grateful to have worked with her, as she made what could be a stressful process a breeze! Thanks for sharing you time and talents with me, Karen.”

“had a great experience today at the Sherwin-Williams in Plainfield. The young lady at the front desk was calm, patient, and really took the time to understand what I needed. She made sure my paint was mixed quickly and let me know it would be ready when I returned later due to other priorities I had. When I came back, everything was ready to go. She checked me in, checked me out, and handled everything professionally. I wished them a Happy Holidays and left very impressed. Even though it was “just paint,” the customer service went a long way. Thank you for making the whole process smooth and easy!”

“Cons: I ordered a paint mix over the phone. The woman working at the time wouldn't give the paint because my phone number wasn't in the system. I asked if anyone else ordered that same paint mix today and she said no. So not sure what the issue was, extremely unnecessary. On the other hand. Major pro: Nick. I called and asked for advice on how to get a paint thats only sold for new construction homes and also only sold by a mass gallon amount. He immediately knew the color, he also immediately knew the mix necessary to create a replica. When I finally did pass security clearance from the lady and got the paint, it was a perfect match. That type of customer service and skill is amazing! Thanks to Nick and will be visiting again for purchasing new paint for my new home as I think his advice will be invaluable!”
