I’ve been here before and keep trying to give these ladies the benefit of the doubt but I can’t anymore.
I first came in to get what I needed for a 24hr urine collection. The woman looked at my paper and made a big huff and started complaining how she didn’t know how to input half the tests that were being ordered. She inputs them all into the computer after a significant amount of time and then makes me call the doctor’s office with a question about the last lab. I don’t know why they have patients calling doctors when I feel they should be doing that themselves; I looked/sounded stupid trying to relay what Quest wanted me to ask. She was already trying to rush me out of her office before I even had an answer. Then she had to call her boss anyway because she still didn’t know what to put in the computer. She was making remarks the whole time like, “I don’t know why offices just don’t do this themselves.” Why would my allergist’s office be processing extended urine tests? Your job is literally THIS.
I asked her if this was going to be multiple bottles and if any of the tests require the bottles with a tablet, and she said no and just gave me a regular orange jug to use.
So yesterday I go to drop off the urine sample and it was a different woman this time and she looks me up in the computer and says that there aren’t any orders in there for me. I told her I watched the other woman input everything but that she gave me back my order, so I gave it to this woman and she sighed heavily and said she was going to have to enter everything again because the other woman hadn’t, then stopped herself and said she couldn’t accept it because there was no diagnosis on the paper the doctor sent me with. I asked her why the other woman didn’t tell me this and she said she didn’t know. She called in someone else who was working there and she was pretty rude and dismissive and was like, “Oh, no dx? Screw that. Send her to AdventHealth.” Who talks like that in front of a patient and just wants to shove them off onto somebody else immediately? Especially when half of this is Quest’s fault because you guys don’t even know how to order tests? So the first woman had me calling up the office asking for a diagnosis. I got that and then she didn’t understand what they wanted from the last lab either so I was still on the phone with my doctor’s office asking that question again.
As she was inputting everything she was like, “I don’t think she even gave you the right bottles. I think some of these tests need the tablets in them.” To which I replied, “I specifically asked her that and she said I only needed a regular one. Am I gonna have to do this all over again?” She says, “No. I’m just going to send it as urine tests without the tablets.” But if that’s not what my doctor ordered, why would we do that? I felt like she had given up at this point.
She finally goes to submit all the tests and the system wouldn’t let her submit them all at once because I think it wanted each individual test on its own order and she hadn’t done that, so now it wasn’t accepting any of them. “Well, I guess we know why the other woman didn’t input any of your tests,” she scoffed. She was swearing like a sailor and called the other woman in again explaining the dilemma. Her solution was to again send me to AdventHealth instead and she walked back out. “She’s mad she has to take patients now because this is taking long.” How is that my problem? She decided she’d send the sample with the paperwork and that they could figure it out themselves at the lab.
A complete waste of my time while all of these women had the audacity to act like it was a waste of theirs when they can’t even enter lab orders into the computer correctly or provide me with the correct jug to pee in. I logged into my Quest account this morning to see if my urine sample even made it. It has, and one of the tests says “with creatinine,” which if I’m not mistaken means I needed a jug with a tablet.

Sign on door says 4:30pm close time, but they lock their doors at 4:16pm. Avoid this location.

I have been a loyal Quest Diagnostics customer for years, but this experience was by far the most unprofessional encounter I have had with your services.
The employee who assisted me displayed highly concerning behavior. She appeared rude and dismissive from the start. When she came to call my name, I asked for confirmation, and instead of responding verbally, she simply shook her head and walked toward the testing room. During the process, she frequently sniffled and used the sleeve of her gown to wipe her nose, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and the risk of contamination for both my test and my health.
Additionally, the employee ended the procedure abruptly. She opened the armrest on the chair and said, “You’re done,” before walking out of the room without confirming if I had left. Alarmingly, she left the computer monitor open with all my personal information visible on the screen.
To make matters worse, the entire interaction was accompanied by a loud hip-hop song playing from her phone, which she kept in her pocket. This lack of professionalism was both distracting and unacceptable for a healthcare environment.
I hope you can understand my frustration and concern regarding this incident. Hygiene, patient privacy, and professionalism are critical in medical settings, and this experience fell far below the standards I expect from Quest Diagnostics.
I kindly request that you address this matter and ensure such behavior is not repeated. If needed, I am happy to provide additional details about my visit.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing back from you regarding the steps being taken to resolve these issues.
Sincerely,

I was traveling from out of town and needed to get blood work done before I would leave the following morning. I came to the Bolingbrook clinic as a walk in. I arrived an hour and a half before closing. There was one gentlemen in line waiting ahead of me. When the phlebotomist came to take the other man, she told me that I needed to make an appointment and she couldn't see me today. I asked her why Quest would advertise for walk ins and why her kiosk would take me as a walk in. She got angry with me and asked me "why are you acting so entitled?!" I asked her for her name and she refused to give it to me. She then yelled at me and told me to come back into one of the rooms, but at this point, I told her I didn't trust her to stick me with a needle. I left, went to the Naperville location, they were much busier but at least they were professional.

I wish I could leave a zero star review. Ive been calling trying to get my results that were supposed to be sent to my doctor months ago. I went to the office and knocked on the door trying to talk to someone in person to get my results because I can't access them on the phone and the tech saw us knocking and completely ignored us. We shouted that we just needed to ask a question and they continued to ignore us. I will never be back. These people hide behind their door and don't do their job.

I was a walk in as I am always, my work schedule makes it hard to schedule, I checked into the Kiosk (AGAIN ANOTHER PLACE WHERE THERE IS NO HUMAN TO SPEAK TO) and was alerted there were "scheduled" appts...ok fine, it always say that even with not 1 person in the waiting room. Usually I am in-between scheduled and late appt makers. I am used to that. I sat down and waited to see my name listed as a walkin. After longer than normal time I finally see my name and figure I would be called soon. After about 45 mis. and multiple people coming and going. I get up and go to the kiosk to see if I can make an appt thru that! Because it appears as they are skipping any walkins until there are no appt.s scheduled (AGAIN NOT HOW IT HAS ALWAYS FELT BEFORE) I follow the prompts and it resets my walkin I am now behind the person who came in OVER 30 mins after me. I try to talk to one of the "workers" who dismissed it and said they have no control can't help me it is all the computers doing excuse after excuse and of course there is nothing they can do, maybe you had too many labs, maybe you should have made an appointment...& "IT IS JUST SO EASY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT" HONESTLY, I was pretty disappointed I usually have a quick enough and easy enough turn around with friendly people. But after like the 20th apology in the overly sweet voice that was just clueless to why I was stuck waiting... it started to get condescending and just rude. I will have to think long and hard about using this location again.

Had an appointment today at noon for blood drawn. The phlebotomist seemed rude. As soon as she drew my blood, a bile tube fell on the floor, picked it up, and continued with the blood drawing. As medical assistants, we are not supposed to pick up anything. If it's on the floor, just leave it there. As soon as she continues draeing my blood, she lifts the needle in an upper angle while trying to finish it, which hurts so bad now after it got bruised. I been going to this place so many times but never experience something like this, it was the worst day for hers and mines. She needs to get retrained. Sorry.🤷♀️

Just drive to the next Quest!
Really rude, will leave you wait while they are just sitting with their extra long nails.
They close whenever they want,
And they can't even draw blood properly! Arm swollen and hurts for days!

Instructions were easy and employees are very skilled. Everything is done on time and it’s clean. Scheduled an appointment from quest site was quite slow and it failed multiple times.

So not cool. I busted my butt to get here before 4:30 which is when they close and I did I was there at 4:28. Door was locked. So I knock on the door and knock on the door. A lady answers while she was walking to her white Jeep that they close at 4:30. I said I know you close at 4:30 that's why I busted my butt to get here while I was hydrating myself so you could take my blood before you closed. I asked her if they normally close early and she said well what's early. I said well closing now before your 4:30 closing time. She just kept slowly walking to her car. Not cool. Not cool at all. 4:30 means 4:30. Not 428. Maybe she was just in a hurry to get home. Maybe a hot date. Either way it's not cool to be inconveniencing people that bust their butts to get there.

Unbelievably rude staff!!! Never experienced such bad manners/customer service! They give more attitude than service. Seems like the staff is not getting paid and doing favors.
Worst place to get yourself tested
Absolutely no manners, no ethics!

Check-in is nice and easy.
Phlebotomists were rude and unprofessional. When coming to get us, she just stared at me, my wife, and 9-month-old daughter (patient) and said, “Ok, I guess we’re doing this.” No name, nothing.
