I reserved a 6x12 trailer from this location as a guaranteed reservation and they had me go through the checkout process before confirming they actually had the trailer. That all had to be reversed when we discovered they didn’t have it. The only good thing I could say is that they contacted U-Haul and found a replacement, but it was a half hour away.

The owner was wonderful.He went out of his to help me. I couldn't ask for more. I'd definitely go back again and refer him every time.Old fashioned customer service.

I am furious with U-Haul corporate in their handling of my claim! They charged my personal checking account over $1500 with no notification they would do so. It has left me with no food, gas or ability to pay my rent. I have spent 2 weeks on the phone attempting to get a refund and make payment arrangements. The Bolingbrook manager refuses to work with me and corporate is telling me there's nothing they can do. At the same time, the Bolingbrook manager is telling me only corporate can assist. I have had to go to food pantries for food and have no idea how I will pay my rent. Apparently they don't care how their decisions impact the daily lives of others.

They are on-time, van is clean, gassed up... have no complaints. The place is busy but they always take whatever time you need for any specifics you have.

Wouldn't rent from anyone else. I use a trailer about seven times a year and had rented from other places. The owner is very helpful, getting me out of a jam several times. As far as I'm concerned----- Best service ever!

Don't rent from this or any other U-Haul. This one in particular has a nice enough staff, but they don't know how to maintain equipment any better than anyone else. They tried to tell me a trailer's lights were working when returned before my rental when we discovered running lights didn't work - yeah, no. They let me take it anyway (illegal) and I discovered that the insulation was gone on all wires in locations both front and back which clearly was the issue. Amazing the lights worked at all with all that shorting. Thankfully I returned it at sunset. After multiple rentals I am done with U-Haul nationwide. 1. Horrible maintenance - 150k miles or more on trucks, flat tires, misaligned wheels, 4 mpg due to horrible engine tune... on and on. 2. THEY SCAN YOUR LICENSE NOW - telling the big lie that it's a government regulation to have a picture (it's not), they want to take a picture of your license (both sides) and store it in their system without telling you that's happening! Big big security flaw. Do not allow this! I walked out and will never return. 3. Lousy customer service - as everyone else knows, there's no such thing as a reservation and you'll be sent miles away to pickup your equipment. The people can either be nice or barely make eye contact. Forget this chain.

Horrible experience. I made a reservation, I tell them I'm here for a truck. The rude a#$ manager tells me nope they are all booked. But He didnt even ask me my name to see my reservation. No help and wouldnt explain to me how I reserved the truck, I see the truck, then tells me no its reserved already, yeah for me if you bothered to ask my name. Horrible experience. I used the uhaul in Boilingbrook on frontage ave.

Used u haul over 30 times they have no loyalty. I needed the truck 48hours. The only way to do it would be I rent it one day, load it, Then unload it, drive it back to have my friend rent it, Load everything back in the trucks and deliver it to the house. There was no reservations on the 7 trucks in the parking lot, they wanted to keep there options open. So will I. Called a corporate manager and they gave me the above option. Clown car (truck) rental company. Sell there stock if you are a investor. If you can drive away a repeat client..

I ordered a truck for 8am on October 1st. "Jim" called the day before (September 30th) at 13:15 and left a voicemail stating that I would be able to pick up the truck I ordered at 12pm on October 1st, because that was the time of drop off for a previous client. I had a strict move in time at the condo I was moving into from 12pm-2pm. I tried to call for over an hour and could not get in touch with a representative. I decided to drive in to resolve this issue in person. They stated that the closest truck that was 15' or bigger would have to be picked up in Chicago. They said, "that's all we can do. Take it or leave it." So I wasted about 3 hours of my day trying to figure out with the condo association, friends, and family another feasible date and time that would work. I had to take two days off of work, instead of moving in last weekend. Basically, this location stressed me out beyond belief. It was beyond the worst service I received ever. This incident affected my friends and family as well. I ended up renting a Penske 16' truck for cheaper and there were no hassles or issues of any kind. I would recommend a different location or a different rental service in general, if you want to have a smooth moving experience.

I called during the week to schedule a truck rental for the upcoming Saturday. I talked with the guy that handled reservations and he seemed friendly enough. I was told someone would contact me on Friday to confirm my reservation for Saturday. I thought everything was set for the weekend. I had a feeling something was wrong and I called the company the morning of to see if they had my reservation. I called the guy and he said they called you on Friday and you cancelled the reservation. I know I did not receive a call confirming my 10 ft truck for this location. The guy said the only 10ft truck they have, has a flat tire and is unavailable. I asked if there was someone he can refer me to and he gave me the traffic people at UHAUL. He said that was all he could do and sorry ITS NOT HIS FAULT in a "I don't care tone". TERRIBLE customer service! Of course this is the second time UHAUL did not have my truck ready after my reservation!
