Northfield Square Mall, once a bustling shopping destination, has faced challenges in recent years. Many stores have left, leaving the once-vibrant mall with a significant number of vacant spaces. However, the mall's faithful vendors, stores, and movie theaters continue to draw visitors. Despite the decline, the mall's structure remains impressive, capturing the essence of the 90s and offering a unique shopping experience. While the lack of store fronts is a concern, the mall's beautiful architecture and nostalgic ambiance still appeal to some shoppers. The management's decisions, such as covering the fountains and cutting down the palm trees, have been met with disappointment by some. Overall, Northfield Square Mall continues to operate, though its future remains uncertain as the retail landscape evolves.
Not alot in this mall now most store fronts are vacant

I love this mall. It is one of two of my favorite malls here in central illinois. I enjoy the video game store at Northfield Square Mall and the other mall I like is Marketplace Mall in Champaign illinois.
