I do not typically like leaving bad reviews but I have tried contacting this business numerous times to no avail. No response to inquires on their website nor do they return phone calls. They must be so busy they do not have time for additional clients.

Yolanda has been my dog trainer since 2006. She has always been super helpful with advice (that actually works!), prompt with returning phone calls, attentive to her clients' training needs and questions, and really patient with beginners and clients in general.Her positive approach to training helps us to understand our dogs and what they are capable of doing. We truly appreciate her.

Yolanda is an excellent trainer with years of experience building relationships between dogs and humans. Here you will not find primitive methods of scaring your dog into subservience. At torbels, you can expect to learn more about dogs, and why they do what they do. Yolanda can help you learn how to redirect unwanted behaviors and also help you understand why they happen. Yolanda can help you give your dogs structure, while also building an exciting training experience. My two youngest dogs have attended classes at torbels, and I couldn't be more pleased. My incredibly stubborn, nose driven dog now has manners. I don't have to worry about her bolting out a door, and she happily goes to her kennel when asked. I did nosework with my high energy lab, and she did excellent with yolandas help! She has grown in skill since we started, and she also gets lots of stimulation from class and sleeps well when she gets home. Yolanda has always been very easy to work with and eager to answer questions. Both of my dogs love Yolanda and she is very kind and loves on them in a way you can tell she adores all dogs. Yolanda helped me build a great training experience for both of my dogs and both get very excited to go to class. I always recommend her to anyone who needs a trainer, or something to occupy their high energy dog.

I like the training here. After I brought my puppy home I realized that his personality was very difficult for me to handle. I felt I had made a big mistake and wanted to return him to the breeder. After talking with Yolanda I decided to give her a try. She taught me how to train him in the way best for him using a calm demeanor and with understanding. Beau and I now have a very strong connection and I’m so happy to have him in my life. Thank you Yolanda.☺️

It’s been 6 months since we took our puppy for training. I’m so glad we took these classes as a family. The pupper has drastically changed in behavior for the better :)

Torbel's is Awesome! and the Instructor is great. Super huge help to my Bernese Mt Dog! Can't recommend this place enough.

11 years ago I took my Pom to her puppy class. It helped socialize her and taught me the skills I needed to make sure she was not an “annoying yappy toy dog”. I’ve been told by multiple people she’s one of the most well behaved Poms they’ve met. I truly believe it’s all about socializing your pup early and teaching obedience at a young age.
