Kenny’s Auto is a great mechanic shop. I went in on short notice to get a pre purchase inspection done on a truck I was interested in purchasing from a local dealer. Kenny went over the whole truck thoroughly and was very knowledgeable throughout the inspection process.

If you live in Kankakee county I wouldn’t go to anyone else but Kenny’s Auto. What we don’t really have in this county is fair business and Kenny is beyond fair. Kenny helped me out. I had to get my jeep towed to his shop from another and with a short phone call he was on board and made it happen for me. He does very good work, he’s a respectful guy and won’t do you wrong.

I just moved into the area 2 years ago. Kenny has been very honest about the repairs my vehicles needed. Is very friendly. To me prices are very reasonable. Will continue to come here for any repairs my vehicles need.

I have never felt so comfortable at any type of automotive place because women are basically treated like they're stupid. I did not feel that way at this place at all. And I wasn't overcharged it was a good price for what I was doing. I absolutely recommend this place they know what they're doing without robbing you

Absolutely amazing service here at Kenny's Auto!! I had a situation where I brought my vehicle to a different franchise mechanic and they wanted to charge me well over the amount necessary for my repairs on my roters and breaks. I was referred to contact Kenny for a second opinion, he was so understanding and caring about my situation and fixed it up in no time at all he worked with me on knowing my issue and what needed to be done.
As a woman with little knowledge of the problem, he didn't take advantage of the situation like most places would.
Awesome person with honesty and integrity in what he does, great conversation to make it an overall phenomenal experience.
Id recommend Kenny's Auto if you want the job done right!

As a woman, I am telling you- I feel safe with Kenny taking care of my car! He was informative and responsive throughout the entire process. He listened to my concerns, and was able to explain things in a way I understood. I really feel his services are at a fair price, and service was quick. I don't know what else you could ask for! 12/10 I will be back. It's a relief to know there's a mechanic in the area I can trust
10/10/25 update: I just called Ken about getting an oil change and checking an indicator light that goes on and off. He's so friendly when I call! I'll be bringing Ellie back in for Ken's care soon. I won't take her anywhere else!!

I was 45 minutes from home and heard a loud noise coming from my tire. I was terrified to get on the expressway. I called Kenny's Auto and he told me to come in immediately. He was very thorough and didnt try to overcharge like most mechanics! He will definitely be my go to mechanic in the future!!! Highly recommend!

I called him from I-57 and told him what happened. Without a 2nd thought he said he knew what i was talking about and if it was a quick fix he'd do it for free. When I got there he came right out and looked at it, told me what it needed, and referred me to All Auto who might be able to get it in right away. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and didnt think twice about taking time out to look at it for me! Highly recommend!
