Mom purchased Nablus cheese from this place and after opening the package she noticed an odd smell. She took it back for a refund but instead of making it right management said the product is fine and tasted one of the cheese instead. I decided to go in person to figure out what is going on, customer service is telling me that the cheese is supposed to be salty (even though this is common knowledge since salt is used for preservation). I showed them the cheese has holes in it and the smell is not right, but instead of making it right I was told to come back the next day to talk to a different manager. I attached a photo of the cheese to this review. The cheese is supposed to be smooth with no holes in it. My mom shopped at this location for over 15 years and purchased the specific cheese a multitude of times. Grocery stores like Jewel-Osco and Pete’s promise fresh ingredients; if the product is below quality they make it right immediately. Those stores don’t tell their customers that they’re wrong and to come back the next day to talk to different management. This store needs better leadership and a module on professionalism. Waiting on one manager to fix issues and telling customers to come back another day is ludicrous. I left the product on their counter since I’m not lugging around 8 pounds of Nablus cheese so I can waste time another day trying to solve the issue. They lost a loyal customer who shopped with them for many years.
