Large self check out area, there is almost always a station available. I haven't tried the employee check out line. This Aldi seems a bit smaller in size than others but still stocked with same items. Has the normal variety of grocery items from bread, fruit, vegetables, canned items to meat.

Because it has good prices and I find everything I need to buy.
