“I can't say enough about Modell funeral home, especially Andrew and his wife Christina. They helped our family with preplanning and when we accually needed to use their services they were right at our side to make sure our needs and wishes we met. Andrew got to know my family and listened to what was important to all of us. My husband owned a classic car and Andrew asked if we would like to park his car in front of the funeral home during visitatations. It was such a personl touch to honor him. They helped us through the whole process which gave me peace of mind during the painful process of buring your spouse.
It is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do and I will be forever be grateful to Modell for making the process worry free for our family. They take care of everything you need and stayed in contact with me afterwards to make sure I was ok and help with anything I might still need.
Modell is a family owned business and treat their clients like family.

“Susan Alvarez and her team treated my family with the utmost respect. They had every detail taken care of, from creating the prayer cards to collaborating with the Funeral in Florida. My mom’s casket flew from Orlando to Chicago without a glitch. We sent them family photos, and they created the sweetest video and aired it on a large monitor in the viewing room. They stored it on a USB that came in the most beautiful case( see photo). They made arrangements with the deacon to perform the service. Everything you need, they can take care of it. Alvarez handled my dad’s arrangements in 2022 and now my mom’s. Great job on both.”

“This Funeral Home is great. They extended their hours to accommodate "working" people till 7:00 pm. This is place is very comfortable, clean and ha a safe place to park. They have a full kitchen, very clean bathrooms and an extra spacious chapel. At this sad time, the cost of services is optional. You have a choice of minimal to expensive. I would use their chapel and other services again.”
