“We’ve been with ALC 1 for just about 6 years now. We have SO many adorable art projects that we will keep and cherish. They also prepare memory books created throughout the year that are given at the end of the school year full of pictures, memories, progress reports, etc..the entire staff is friendly & helpful and somehow know EVERY parent! It’s safe (code needed & a very secure door), clean, & the outside area is perfect for little ones to have water play days, playground fun, a garden, ride around in cozy coupes and more. Our sons have been loved, cared for, tended to, played with, & taught. The operating hours are helpful for parents with early start times and those who need until 5:45p. Jessica has everything in line and ready for the summer program along with the new school year. We always know what’s going on thanks to the ProCare app and constant communication-we get photos of our kiddo everyday along with their activities, meals, and helpful reminders. They plan the cutest holiday parties and really enjoy theme days-they’re easy too, nothing too hard to put together at home ;) we are truly grateful for this daycare. Our son leaves each day smiling and excited to show us what he’s made and the fun he’s had with his teachers & friends. We are so glad we have had both of our boys attend ALC, and although it’s our last year (aging out next August ?), the boys always point out their school when we drive past & we’re just so grateful for the positive impact ALC has had on their childhood ♥️”

They’ve created a great community and do a handful events throughout the year so the families can mingle and get to know each other. After five years at Village Children’s Academy, this daycare has become like family to us. From the very beginning, the front office staff (Beth, Jenn, and Jovanna) have been nothing short of amazing. They are always accommodating, attentive to specific requests, and truly do everything possible to keep the school running smoothly while making families feel supported and cared for.

Over the years, we’ve had so many incredible teachers who have helped shape our sons’ experiences, and we are so grateful for each of them (shoutout to Ms Pat, Ms. Esmerelda, Ms. Randy, Ms. Drea, Mr. Nick and so many more). Most recently, Ms. Becca and Ms. Jackie have rounded out our time at VCA and constantly went above and beyond to make learning magical and memorable.

Ms. Becca starts every morning with the warmest attitude that immediately makes both kids and parents feel welcomed and comfortable. Her positivity is contagious and sets the tone for a great day.

Ms. Jackie is truly one of a kind. She doesn’t miss a single detail and fully commits to every classroom theme and somehow always brings her creative visions to life. She even relieves that “mom guilt” by creating experiences that many of us wish we had time to pull off ourselves. Like grinch day and making sure the leprechaun came to cause chaos in the classroom on St. Patrick’s Day. The kids absolutely love it.

Together, Ms Becca and Ms. Jackie create such thoughtful and imaginative pretend play stations (our family favorite was the Costco setup), and the art projects are truly above and beyond. These and the memories are the kinds of keepsakes we will cherish forever. One thing that especially touched us was how they picked out individualized Christmas gifts for each student based on their personal interests, such a thoughtful and personal gesture that speaks volumes about how much they genuinely care for every child.

We are incredibly grateful for the love, creativity, and dedication this school pours into its students every single day. VCA has given our family so many special memories, and we could not recommend them more. We’ll be sad to end our time over the next couple of days, but are so thankful for the warmth we felt through the phone on my very first call with Beth the director that solidified our decision before we even had the chance to visit the school five years ago.”

“we went there to check out some softball but the facility is really nice. Fields looked well taken care of. The grounds were clean... really nice brick walkway through the middle of it. The restrooms were clean too. I was there at the height of cicada 2024 and the noise was relentless.”

“My wife and I have been very pleased for the past 10 years with Picket Fence in River Grove. One of our children has gone there, and one is still there. The staff has always been very good with both our children. Leadership has always been very good at keeping us posted of any changes that may have occurred, or handled a problem in a professional manner. The staff works hard to keep the children active on activities or play in the classrooms. We have always appreciated the service of them walking the children to school in the morning, and picking them up in the afternoon. This is very valuable for us on the half days, or the off days the school has. This is an excellent daycare.”

“We can't speak highly enough of this daycare. The staff and teachers at North Elston Kindercare have been so kind and flexible. They were accommodating from day one for our child's socioemotional needs -- our occupational therapist who visits our child at school speaks very highly of them too. On top of the learning and care our family receives here, they plan a ton of fun activities like bubble parties, soccer, and water days. Our child comes home happy and talks about her friends and teachers all the time!”

“We love love love the toddler class for our 20month old! The teachers are kind, caring, energetic, resourceful, and compassionate. I know my child is in great hands when I drop them off for the day! My child is always excited when I drop them off at school and in a good mood when I pick them up. I really love all of the updates and videos that I get throughout the day & love the updates they give me when I pick my child up. The teachers in the toddlers room sometimes swap with the 2s room so I feel connected to my child's next teachers as well. “The Creme is really a special place to entrust the care, development and curriculum for your children. We recently changed after our older son started Kindergarten and we didn’t know what we were missing. From administration(Chris G) to the teachers(Ms Helen & Ms Victoria), it has truly been an overall great experience. We look forward to continuing to work with them. They also have programs for the kindergarten kids that you may need coverage on closed school days or breaks as an add on. 5 starts not enough for this Westmont branch.”

“Daylight Learning Center is a diverse daycare that strive to prepare your child/children for the next education journey. The commitment and dedication I witnessed from the staff and core teachers for each grade level was incredible. My son was born during the pandemic so he lacked social skills and struggled breaking out his shell in the beginning at Daylight. Ms. Valerie, Ms. Tracy, Ms. Ashanti and Ms. Lanya did not give up on my son despite his challenges he encountered throughout his journey. Having a support system like this is vital for parents! Today as he said his goodbyes, he said he almost cried as everyone sang the farewell song. Being able to express his feelings so openly now versus from the beginning of is journey shows just how much effort and dedication Daylight community impacted him. “We were searching for a Russian speaking daycare with great food options for our child and Children's Land caught our eye. Even though there is no Russian speaking group in this location, my child's language skill improved so much due to listening to Ukrainian and practicing Russian at home. The child adjusted nicely to the daycare and made so many friends there. There are different activities for kids every day, including singing, painting and dancing. Honestly, couldn’t be happier ?”
