This branch is well run! Worked with the branch manager, she is very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable about Citibank products. Will return.

The people at this bank are so great. They greet you as soon as you walk in. They offer you coffee, they are so friendly and helpful it makes you feel at home. I Love this bank, the tellers and all the staff.

I came yesterday to deposit cash, ATM too the money but did not deposit it into my account. I called customer service & on the first attempt they hung up on me, second attempt someone actually told me their system is down and to call within an hour. So I call and wait for 35 minutes and no answer. I come today (Saturday) at 9 tellers are inside joking and won't open the door until 10. What business opens 10-5? When everyone else's open their door at 8:30? In addition to that you can never reach a live person at this bank since they list their phone number as the 888 one (customer service). I'm still waiting here to get my money that I deposited into the ATM & once I receive that, canceling my account with this bank. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I've been a Citibank customer for 17 years and have 3 accounts with them: business, personal, and credit card. Today, I discovered that there was fraud on my business account, requiring me to close that account and open a new one, so I went to this branch. I've been coming to this exact branch the whole 17 years, and I always just walk in and get helped. Not today. Today, I was told point blank that they would not help me in any way without an appointment. Not, "Can you wait?" or "Can you come back at 2?" or "Let me see if I can get someone". Just, "We can't help you because you don't have an appointment." I have a business account; all I need is to open a new one and transfer the money into the new one. Nope, they couldn't help. It's an emergency, because today is Friday and payroll is due Monday and I have no account from which to pay my staff. "I'm sorry, we can't help you." I called and asked for a manager to call me. Instead, 5 hours later, FAR too late to do anything, one of the bankers who refused to help me called. By this time, I had already gone to another bank that actually had time for me. I will never step foot into this branch again, and I highly recommend that everyone find a different one to use, as it feels like they don't care about you the customer in the slightest here.

I have been Citibank customer for over 15 years. Had wonderful experience in the past.... But during last 4-5 years personnel changed in this particular branch, so did service. Today I had worst banking experience in my life at this branch. Came in to close one of my business accounts, waited for banker for about 20 minutes (they had some kind of gathering in the back, laughing, telling funny stories) when eventually banker attended to me, asked to wait some more. After another 15 minutes told me that they can not to close my account for my own protection because they don't have my signature on file. Passport, ID, credit cards, SSN card - not enough... Suggested to go to brunch where account was open to complete the transaction. I left, when I was 5 minutes away from another branch got a call from the office: "Citibank called and said that NOW they can complete transaction". It took me about 10 minutes to close account in Northbrook branch, no problem. I will be closing all my remaining accounts and will never step to Arlington Heights branch! Worst experience ever. Tellers are nice, but bankers and managers are the worst!

This is NOT my favorite Citibank location. I've been Citigold Member for many years, and I don't enjoy going there, and being pressured often by cross-selling. Service is slow and not very competent. Had few particularly unpleasant experiences there. Prefer Northbrook Court or Downtown Alrington Heights branches of Citi instead.
