I was surprised with 3 different bills for the same visit, inconsistent with the statement balance. When I tried contacting them (TWICE) to discuss this discrepancy, I was put on hold by a machine and was shortly told no one can assist me (calls made between 12-4PM). After leaving a polite message with information and a callback number, no call was received from them. Now I am stuck with questions and left with nothing but discrepancies and a due date. Some of the worst service I have seen. I will not be coming back, nor recommending anyone to this location.

I have been going NCH medical group form the time they were in the old building. I've gone to them for routine check ups, Blood work and walk in help. I have not had a bad experience at any time. If you go online and put all your information into Mychart and do your precheck in and remember the folks working there are human beings and treat them with respect I'd be willing to bet your experience will be good as well.

Very rude receptionist. Makes you feel guilty for coming in. Definitely not what you want to hear when you are there for help. This was like this with the old building and hoping the attitude would change with a new facility but unfortunately it hasnt. Its the same snarky and unfriendly reception. NCH needs to do better.

i was surprised when i saw the low ratings. i think it might be a case of too few satisfied patients taking the time to express it, so we're only seeing the unhappy folks. we don't really know WHY they're unhappy folks, so there's no telling how reasonable their complaints are.those complaints are not an accurate reflection of my own visits. i am an established patient and have never had negative experience with any of the staff... quite the contrary. the building seems full of helpful professionals doing good work.

I'm so sick of these people not having their phone system together. They have problems constantly with the phone. In the 3 times I've called them this year they have had problems with their phone each time. Get it together.On another note, they have a constant turnover with doctors. Don't get attached because they won't be there long.

in "Clinical Laboratories" there was white lady with glass look like from russia or poland somewhere. she was very very very rude & stupid. she dont know how to talk to patient. i hope manager take care this lady.

My doctor went on a leave. They never contacted me just cancelled my appointment. I contacted them through their app about setting up and appointment and found out my doctor was on leave through that. Was told to call to set up an appointment with someone else and called to never get a callback. I got called at work today. I called back within half an hour and was on hold for ten minutes from position 7 to 2 and then their phone system hung up on me. Pissed off is an understatement.

Beware! Slow and long on hold if u call , no doctor call backs just nurses. Suggest driving to a hospital or clinic thats not NCH. Some nurses like Maria for doctor Bakkan have additude when you make a request to check your blood pressure on both arms! Doctor also had attitude so bye bye got a new doctor something we can do

The absolute worst front office staff of any medical practice. The doctors are good, but when you factor in the bad attitudes, lack of follow through, communication, and disrespectful responses of the front office staff it’s not worth it. Had to call three times to get blood work transferred to another physician so that I could get my prescription refilled, no I’m sorry, no we’ll do it now, just attitude from the front office staff like I’m asking them to go above and beyond for me. Still waiting to see if they transfer those results.

Utter apathy out of these people. Have had go spend days playing phone tag, messages unanswered, faxes not answered or sent, have to go up chain, telling issue, to desk staff who then tell nurse who will then tell doctor and then call back in 2-3 days while other doctors wait and every one slams to a halt. Test results not discussed. I ended up going elsewhere after a year of this because of unfriendly treatment and too many problems . Dont feel I ought to have to chase and call and call more and be stressed when I'm supposed to have health care here and pay for it. Place is a disorganized mess.

The absolute worst front office. Rude, no follow up, no communication and when you ask them to do their job they make it seem like you are bothering them. Had to call three times to get my lab results to another doctor, and every time got attitude like it was my fault it was not sent. They still aren't sent & no one from the "care team" cares. With so many options, I would avoid this place at all costs unless you what to deal with a headache. Front office staff needs an attitude adjustment to realize that they are there to assist the patients and treat them like they are nuisance.

I see specialty physicians at this location, have had lab work done here MANY times, and have had x-rays, etc. Have yet to have a bad experience. And I am there frequently.

Called the main line and was transferred immediately by the receptionist without even asking what do I need. After almost 15 mins of waiting, I gave up. I also tried the website as it might answer any of my questions but the site says 'page not found'.

I chose NCH in Buffalo Grove for convenience but the receptionist are rude and indifferent as are some of the doctors. My doctor went out on leave of absence and was bounced around to new doctors who were equally mediocre at best as the rest of the folks at NCH. Dr. Pohl who has less than 3 years of experience wasn't any different; I had to make an appointment practically every time I refilled my medication. His soft skills were non existent. Avoid NCH at all cost!!!!
