They told me they sent for culture test for uti symptoms. One week later I call back for test results and they told me to come back again for another test if I wanted to get another antibiotic because it was never sent for culture in the first place. What a joke! Very frustrating

You can read everywhere online that if you have a positive covid test that you can go to one of the immediate care centers and get at least one paxlovid pill. I was calling today to my primary care physician since 12 PM (every hour) with no results..Finally, at 7PM I went to the immediate care center which is in the same building as my physician just to have one paxlovid pill or a prescription for it. The immediate care center was empty at 7:30PM (except one guy whom they refused to see too). I was refused a service, because they told me that they need to to have a kidney test, etc. and only my primary care physician can do it. I had this blood test two weeks ago and the only thing they should've done is to open a computer (since I'm a patient of NCH). I even had my positive covid test with me. Basically, just "Please, call the Walgreens" visit. And I had similar visit with the skin infection 2 months ago, that was taken care very well. But not take care of a patient 30 minutes before closing, when facilities are empty???? And why to list 8Pm as a closing time? Keep it at 7PM if you don't want "walk ins" (which are "welcomed" there). Are they there to help people or what? I don't recommend this facility.

Be aware: Immediate Care Fee for walking through the door is minimum $350 (info from their health-cost advocate when I asked over the phone). I was charged total of $777.82 for a strep test. Not a 'lower cost' option as the website claims. I have asked that they place the minimum fee on the door, they refused.

Wasn't feeling well so I decided to head to the local immediate care center. Registration was easy and the staff were very friendly. They got you in and out as soon as they could, and I appreciate the care I received. Thanks to the staff for helping me feel better when I was feeling pretty sick.

Ladies in the front and every other person I interacted with were super nice. The pa was so dismissive and arrogant. I hope others have a better experience with Lauren than I did. I had to call back several days later to get antibiotics. I understand not giving out antibiotics for everything, but I felt like I had to CONVINCE her I was super ill and she still didn't take me seriously. It was very discouraging as someone who avoids going to the doctor unless I cannot function.Update called again on a Wednesday still super sick. Was finally prescribed steroids on Friday.

This place is the worst. Don’t expect “urgent” care if it’s 45 minutes before closing because they need to get home for dinner and will turn you away. “We re-open tomorrow at 8:00 am” If we could wait until the next morning, we wouldn’t have come to urgent care.

EDIT.When they first opened, and probably before Northshore merged them, they were much better. My most recent visit though, it took so long to get seen, and I had to pick up my daughter, that I peeked out to ask if the provider was coming in any time soon. Then they sent an antibiotic to Walgreens that is something I could be allergic to. Walgreens alerted me and didn’t dispense it to me. I called them back but it took too long for Walgreens to refill the new one. They also double billed my insurance so I had to take care of that too.Everything just seems to move very slowly now. And not efficiently.———————————————————————They actually picked up the phone when I called to ask if there were open and taking patients. My daughter was crying in pain and whilst we got kicked out of The NorthShore immediate care, they were able to see us. The intake guy was so patient and nice. Working with me while my daughter screamed. The nurse was kind. The PA was efficient and understanding. I am super glad I have a reliable immediate care nearby! Super convenient.

NorthShore Health Group seriously needs to re-structure, re-define the term "Patient Care & Patient Satisfaction". The reviews below are accurate. People they hire and brought on here are simply incompetent and not a people person. On top of that the wait time is just subpar. Again, what is the point of having an appointment if you're going to make the patient wait for more than 30 minutes? The doctors whom I spoke to even admits that they have made suggestions to the higher executives but are not being listened to. Clearly the people who make more money are not part of the transaction and do not give af whereas the people who are closer to the transactions are making way less, incompetent and still do not give af.I don't recommend this or the Kildeer facilities.

I went to NCH Immediate Care Ctr. in Buffalo Grove for an abscessed finger that was very painful, and getting worse. I arrived 1/2 hr before closing time (Sat 6pm), and the waiting room was empty. Before I could barely state what my issue was, the receptionist said they wouldn't be able to see me - they close in a 1/2 hr, and they didn't want to get "stuck" there. The attitude was SO uncaring. She wasn't concerned about my pain at all. She did say that they re-open at 8am Sunday morning, and that I was welcome to come back. I declined as I needed immediate attention to address my pain & swelling. I would STAY AWAY from this facility! They are not immediate care, as stated in their name! They are only worried about getting out of work on time - who cares about the patient's pain!!

I came to NCH with my son who was sick. The lady named Lisa who was assisting at the desk was extremely rude. I been working in healthcare for almost 10 years now and I never had treated my patients like this ever in my life or never showed them attitude when they walk in. I had always greeted and cared them with respect.I sat down and watched how her behavior was with other people who walked in there and I realized that it was just us as we are colored and one thing was clear that it was clearly racial. This kind of employees are a shame for the facility which can lead to very bad customer satisfaction.Over all We had a very good experience with rest of all the staffs in NCH including the nurse, doctor and other front desk staffs who helped my son and we are extremely thankful for that and all the hard-work you are offering to this community. My only request is please educate your staff to be gentle to your patients as they are coming to your door for help not for a war or fight. Please please treat them with respect. I am hoping that nobody else will have to go through what we experienced during our visit here. Again such a good experience with all other staffs there and we are greatly appreciative for that.

Came to this new location and waited for 1.5 hours at immediate care and had to walk out to pick up my kid from school. Person in front of me walked out as well and they have been waiting for 2+ hours by that time.Immediate care that was on Lake cook road was much more efficient and faster. Now there is this huge building, but staffed like a tinny office.

Don’t waste your time! You come in sick and they won’t listen to your concerns. It’s like jumping through hoops of fire in shark infested waters to “prove” to them you are sick. Its not worth it. Just go to An Advocate clinic.
