Speedway offers quick, friendly service with a great staff in a clean and bright location. It has nice pumps and an expansive selection of snacks, beverages, and sundries. While gas prices can run higher than other local stations, it avoids Cook County taxes, keeping costs like cigarettes lower. The service is excellent and cheerful, making for a pleasant visit, though seating is limited. It is a convenient spot for fuel, a quick snack, and other essentials.
Easy in and out from Milwaukee Rd. Pumps are always functional and maintained. I appreciate they try to remain competitive with their fuel prices considering Woodman's and Thorton's just down the road. The C-Store always seems to be jumping with their specials on quick food and drinks.

I just go there for cigarettes because they're in Lake County. But still, friendly service staff.
