My first complaint is it’s understaffed the pharmacist was doing vaccines, looking for lances and filling prescriptions. There was a person registering people for clinic and handling checkouts at the pharmacy counter. Second complaint is that electronic prescriptions on serval occasions seem to be held in limbo when sent from doctors office. I have to call the pharmacy and demand they look through the system and of course there it is, they tell me they will pull it through and type it up. (It’s electronic what’s to type up?)

This place should be charged with crimes. I'm out of my medicine, wait an hour, find out it's not ready. I get sent home without the medicine I need to live. Mind you, I sent the refill request in 8 hours ago. I can't even get served by a person to transfer my prescriptions out!

Horrible service at the pharmacy!! I went 3 times and every time they said that my prescription isn’t ready after telling me that it will be ready in 30 mins..

I'm about to say the same thing as everyone else..... the wait... the staff... ridiculous and incompetent. You think with ALL the complaints corporate or whoever is in charge of this store should really try to resolve this issue. It shouldn't be a headache and hassle to get every prescription here. Every time I get one filled or try to, it's an ordeal, a headache and it's stressful. It really shouldn't be. I understand everyone is short staffed and etc, etc, but get it together a little bit. No other Walgreens have I had this problem... even when I lived in the city, I got my script in minutes. The pharmacy techs are unknowledgeable and tell you they'll have it ready at a certain time, wait 15 plus mins in line just to be told it's not ready... No more filling here.

Horrible service at the pharmacy... the wait time was atrocious and then they couldn't find my prescription and then when I said that I'm not leaving them they magically found it...

My family and I have been going to this Walgreens in Buffalo Grove for nearly 30 years or more. We are frustrated, angry, and disappointed. We pulled up to the drive-thru window today, and the kid at the window screamed out LAST NAME, then he proceeded to tell us our prescription was not ready. Well, we were there three times yesterday, and now once today. The prescription was called in by the doctor at 12:45 yesterday. This was pain medication for my son's eyes, he's having surgery tomorrow, and guess what. They told us that they are running 5 days behind, and our prescription was net ready. My husband said we needed to speak to a pharmacist immediately. The pharmacist came to the window and could not speak English. We asked him three times to repeat what he said. Finally, we realized he was asking if we had a question for him. Yes we said why isn't the prescription ready when my son got a message saying it was. His answer was maybe by tonight even though he needs it for surgery, or it might not be ready for a few days. This is unacceptable of a pharmacy. What happens if someone needs antibiotics or pain meds like we did, they're not going to get them. If Walgreens needs that much help and they're that much behind, have the corporation hire somebody or two or three. Everybody in that store is wonderful, except for the pharmacy. They are rude, inept, and downright stupid.

This Walgreens is completely atrocious. You can expect to wait close to half an hour in line at the drive thru AND get rude service. It often seems like they have no people who actually know what they are doing working there. They think it's acceptable to delay a medication by 24 HOURS for someone who urgently needs medication to prevent possible serious illness stating they can't do anything because there is no one in the pharmacy filling prescriptions during working hours and not during a pharmacist break. They don't transfer prescriptions and can't be bothered to help beyond that so then you have to sit and call pharmacy after pharmacy trying to get a prescription filled. I've been overly patient with this location. Save yourself the headache and the stress- go somewhere else.

First tried to make vaccine appointment over the internet, impossible, called store and made appointment for rsv, COVID-19 and flu. When I got to the store for my 1:30 appointment early, only one computer station works, no one seems to be competent except one young lady. When I get there they don't want to give me the three shot shots stating the rsv should be two weeks from the Covid shot even though this was not mentioned and I was told all three are ok to get at one time. There is no government status saying you can't do all three. Finally after15 minutes they agreed that I could get all three. People who walked in getting their shots in front of my confirmed appointment. After 2 pm and still waiting for them to mix the rsv. 2:08 received the shots, Allison gave the shots and deserved five stars, pleasant, kind young lady, promote her see knows what she is doing.

Was told my prescription would be 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I checked to see if it was ready, and they told me it was going to be at least 2 hours. I have a UTI, and I need to take this. Pharmacist there were nearly 200 people before me. Terrible service !

This store has the most incompetent people working in the pharmacy!! Not consistent with their "rules!" Either they can or cannot inform you whether they have a medication in stock over the phone. Very inconvenient making you drive there just to see if they have it !!!!!

Absolutely the worst customer experience ever at this store. They don’t care how long people are waiting and don’t even try to be efficient, then are just rude about it. Transferring all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy so I never have to go to this awful store again.

If there is a zero star, I would chose it. The cashier is rude and very stupid and can't even do simple subtractions.

Scheduled an appointment on line for a negative covid test for travel. Show up 15 minutes early. Clinic closed. I ask the technician and she says advocate is separate from walgreens. She told me to make an appointment on walgreens dot com i said that’s what i did and she asked for my last name and she said I did not have an appointment even though walgreens sent me a reminder email with my confirmation number showing me i had an appointment. It truly seemed as if she was just trying to shoo me away.

Terrible Dreadful....Wait and wait and wait -- stuck drive thru as they explained the same thing over and over to a person for 10 minutes about a $5 coupon that they had used so much (1yr) they it was no longer valid.... I have a sick child crying in the car with a ear infection - so kind of wanting to get meds and get home.... Either beeped speaker twice and was rudely replied to - I will help you when I am done with this customer.... I said understand but had a quick easy question.... I need to help lane one was the response..... I went inside and listened to them continue to explain to lane 1 - coupon is not valid any longer and they need to get a new one from the website or company to then wait another 5-10 minutes with my daughter in pain to finally get the script....
