If you want to experience one of the shadiest pharmacies ever, come here. They charged me for 16 pills, printed a label saying I got 16 pills and then only gave me 1. Then, they partially filled another prescription and didn’t get the rest before it ran out. They just kept saying it would come tomorrow. They refused to do anything about it and I couldn’t pick it up elsewhere because once you partially fill it somewhere, insurance won’t cover picking the rest up elsewhere. I’ve never had a pharmacy make it so difficult to get prescriptions or cost me so much due to their ongoing errors and if you expect for them to act like they even remotely care, think again!

we moved in to the neighborhood 4 years ago. since then we have had nothing but problems getting our medications! problems include insurance issues every time we would go even though insurance had already been verified and we had to go through the same process every single time for like 3 times. That was for one of our children. then my husband who is a regular due to his condition had the same issue with our insurance and that was a year after the first issue with our child. then a year later medication changed and the app and messages on phone calls would say it was being prepared. for days they both said that. when he called them and got a live person they finally said oh we are preparing it for you. that issue was 2 months ago. now I barely get medication and this one time I need it I had to do the same game my husband did. it was supposed to be ready yesterday according to the call i gave the automated system yesterday. The order was placed friday after noon! today is sunday and the automated system said it wasnt ready so i decided to talk to a live person. first person said they didnt have it in stock transferred me to another line when i asked her to see if another walgreens had it and system hung up on me. then i called again and spoke to a different person and they at least helped me by explaining there is an issue with my account and i had to be transferred to another group that actually prepares the medication so they can over ride whatever issue i had. so i waited like 7 minutes before i got someone and he said medication is being prepared it will be 45 minutes. I dont understand this! If someone can explain how it all works and why there are so many issues here then I would try to understand better but I am truly thinking about driving 15 more minutes away to switch to another pharmacy.

Ridiculous and rude. Cannot get a simple answer to a simple question. "Has my prescription been received?" Got transferred 2x and put on hold for an hour. Hung up after no one answered. Transferring to CVS as this isn't the first problem I have encountered at this or any other Walgreens in the area.

Someone from them called me last Thursday that my medication is ready for pick up. Then I came today, 2 days later and my medication is not there. I regularly get it monthly, but this time, awful experience. I will never recommend this pharmacy/store. Terrible experience.

They don't even rate one star but a star had to be awarded otherwise, the review would not post. Walgreen's does not care about customers. Nothing about a run-around and double-talk when trying to get a prescription. After being told to sit and wait at the Buffalo Grove pharmacy for an hour maximum, it is now 18 hours later. This is standard procedure with location and service/attitude is horrible. Walgreen's does not care.

Clueless (un-trained) pharmacy tech staff and they will put you on hold for hours and won't get you to pharmacist. I had to hang up after 30mins of hold

Don't bother making vaccine appointments for your kids. Two times now I've scheduled an appointment only to be told they don't have it.
No one bothered contacting me in the many days leading up to the appointment, I had to drive all the way out here, check in, and then be told I wasted a trip.

Wanted to post an appreciation review for the hardest worker there in the pharmacy Jim! He’s amazing, every time I come by he’s got a smile. He’s efficient and so friendly, I would have added Ben to this review but I know he’s transferred to a different location! He was amazing too! Jim deserves a raise!

The Best Buy down the street sells the same PNY 32 gb thumb drive for $13, and is now on sale for $6.
Company executives that place these prices like this should be jailed.

VARSHA , the pharmacist assistant gave EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE in my todays visit. She helped in getting our medication promtly as they were not ready as we went to walgreens directly from our doctor. 5 STAR SERVICE.

I received a robo call letting me know my prescriptions were ready to be picked up. I called the pharmacy to inquire about the cost and was told the total amount for both prescriptions. Two days later I went to pick my prescriptions up and the cost was much lower than I had been told. Then I realized it was only one prescription. When I inquired about the other I was told it would be a couple of days. Keep in mind Walgreens was sent these prescrtions 10 days ago. I would think they would have sourced the inventory much sooner. I complained that I was contacted BOTH prescriptions were available for pick-up. When I complained, I was told I had to wait 15 minutes. When I finally received both presciptions, they gave me 7 pills against a prescription for 180 pills. This is wrong on so many levels. People don't have time to wait for them to get their sourcing in order. This is not the first time I have gone through this experience with them. CVS here I come and advise you to do the same!!

prices do not match on the computer and on the shelf! I called the manager! She couldn’t explain why I had to pay more, although the price tag was listed with the same product name and 2 dollars cheaper! it’s not my mistake, no apology, nothing came from her.. I went to the website, the price is the same as on the price tag.. that is, I just lost time and the staff couldn’t help solve the problem
