Fast service, seemed to be pretty straight forward with what needed to be repaired and seemed reasonable with the fees. I don't feel uncomfortable going there, they've been very polite and direct.

My dealer was charging more for a service and this place checked and figured out it was wasn’t even what my dealer thought the repair was and they saved me money and did a great job! And another repair that could be done they recommend not wasting money on as it’s not urgent and happens to most vehicles. Finally an honest repair shop who just isn’t out to screw you. I’ll bring all of my cars here!

Rafael (the owner) is such a nice guy. He os honest about what needs immediate repair and what you should watch but is not urgent and can wait. He has done an excellent job repairing my car for a fair price several times over the past two years. Will definitely be going back and I recommend him!

I found this auto service place after a frantic 2 minute Google search after my husband's car had a huge failure while he was turning into a parking spot at his workplace (in Willowbrook). Route 66 has excellent reviews online so this was a no brainer choice.The tow truck delivered our car to the shop. Route 66 was friendly and they explained the problem in a way I could understand it. Their prices are FAIR, thank goodness! The control arm and ball joint failed. If this happened on the highway, which my husband was on 2 minutes prior to the failure, it could have killed him. Even though we were an unscheduled appointment, they fixed our car in only 1.5 days! They also did a thorough check unlike Tuffy's, where we will never have service at again after they missed this problem 11 days prior to the failure.Even though we live in Mokena!, we take both our cars to Route 66 in Willowbrook now because we *trust* they are doing a thorough check! Not every shop does a truly thorough checkup of your car, little did I know.Impressed with Route 66, a few weeks later I brought my Ford Escape into Route 66 for a checkup, and they did another thorough check to keep us safe!
