I only purchase my makeup through Sephora. That being said, I won’t come back to this location. I needed to return 4 products because the brand completely changed the formula, only one was opened by me to test and I told the sales associate that. Associate proceeds to open every product in silence without saying a word to me and it seemed she was also training another associate at the same time and she wasn’t speaking to her either. Associate sets two of the opened products aside, I’m assuming she thinks I lied and opened everything so now I’m pissed that I was sent a product that someone else thought was used. Again, I only opened one product and told her that and which one it was. Associate then asks if I have the same card I used, I told her I used Apple Pay. She looks at me flustered and says “I asked did you have the same card.” I just showed her my phone at that point because like why has this whole situation been uncomfortable because I need to return products that aren’t the same because the brand changed formulas? People have lost all their humility.

One of the most unpleasant experiences i’ve ever had at an establishment. The try-hard at the register who was helping me do a return was extremely unpleasant to work with nor did she explain the situation properly to me. When I caught her in a lie, I requested to speak with a store manager who ultimately dismissed my concerns and basically told me that my issue was invalid. The staff at this location lack professionalism and corporate needs to be involved.

I got my makeup done today by Kim and I must say everything was amazing . Her customer search was top tier and her work is as well! I stay 30 minutes from this location and I must say it was worth the drive and I will definitely be back !

Came today on a mission to find the perfect lipstick and lip liner… with the help of Olivia I managed to get the perfect set including a plumping lipgloss. I appreciate her help in finding lip products that match my complexion (Medium-Tan with Golden Olive Undertones). Great customer service and sweet girl! I bought the Dior Addict 871 D-Dream Hydrating shine Lipstick, Makeup Forever 600 Anywhere Caffeine lip liner, and Sephora Outrageous Volume Plump Effect 02 XXL Nude (lipgloss). I also got some Anastasia Beverly Hills samples with my purchase which I really appreciate. I will definitely come back and recommend this store for makeup purchases ^.^

I was very disappointed with my makeup experience last Saturday. I had a 2:15 appointment and arrived at 2:00. The makeup artist was finishing with another client. I spoke to the assistant manager, informed her of my appointment, and she said the makeup artist was going to lunch and that she would do my makeup instead. I considered canceling because I was paying for a professional service, not just anyone. I explained to the assistant manager how I wanted my makeup, as I have dark skin. I don’t think she knew how to do makeup properly. She had to redo my eyes, and when I got home, my face looked white from the foundation, like a mummy. I had told her I wanted my foundation matched correctly. I had to redo it myself at home. I don’t recommend Sephora to anyone; it was a waste of money. I could have done my makeup better myself.

The ladies that work here are always very nice. Even though a bit far, this would be my local sephora because all I have are the kohls ones. And u cant get a lot of brands at kohls. But this place always stocked, nice, and organized

Janice at the Burr Ridge Sephora in the Village Center was so helpful with every aspect of the store from perfumes to hair care. Helpful enough to where i left a google review !! I never do this lol. Awesome and kind person and so insightful, she really knows her stuff and is just fun to chat with about different products. She's definitely passionate about skincare/haircare!! Thank you :)
