We just went to the Verizon store in Byron to pay our bill and No One was there? Hours say they close at 6pm. It was 5:15pm and they were gone.

Serena was extremely rude. Amongst all other things, we asked if the phone was activated and she said "I don't know, it should be". They handed me the phone from the back and let us walk out the door. Part of this is on me for not verifying that it was indeed not activated but you work at the store, you also know better. Thankfully I never need to go back and Verizon corporate is aware of the situation.Thanks for the experience.

I honestly hate dealing with Verizon and have had nothing but trouble since I upgraded, and added a line in November. I went to the Bryon store(which is not where I made my initial upgrade and purchase) after several failed attempts of trying to correct the issues I've been having. They were absolutely wonderful at the Byron location! Serena was very helpful and understanding of my situation, and spent a lot of time helping me. I also witnessed her patience and kindness when dealing with another older, and slightly confused customer that came in for help while I was there. I would highly recommend this location and Serena specifically!

Would give zero stars if I could. The manager at this location is a joke. Tried returning my iphone 13 that I bought here and upgrading to the 13 pro max size. My attempted return occurred ~2 weeks into the 30 day return window and I was told by the manager that my device was not in like-new condition, and they would not allow me to return it at all! The purchase contract includes a 'hassle free' 30-day return and exchange policy that mirrors the verbiage you might find from a Verizon Authorized Retailer contract, (TIP- RUSSEL CELLULAR IS NOT A CERTIFIED VERIZON RETAILER, they're an independent franchise so they don't have to play by standard Verizon conduct rules) however interpretation of the return policy is subject to manager approval. I was told my phone was not in like-new condition and I could not return it. I tried going to a Verizon retailer and returning it, and they were shocked that I was told my phone was too damaged to return, but could not accept the return since Russel cellular is an independent Verizon provider. The customer service agent and manager at the rockford Verizon apologized, and bent over backwards to help remedy the situational mess caused by Russel. I've been with Verizon for 15 years, don't make a purchase here (Byron Verizon) if you expect to be treated fairly, respectfully, or even kindly.Pics attached

I usually loathe having to go in for phone stuff. However this was my first time going to this particular store and I have never received such great customer service. Elias was wonderful to work with, I appreciated that he didn’t make me feel like just a number, he was personable and didn’t make me feel d*** for asking questions. I have officially adopted him as my phone guy lol

Marquee was very patient and kind and didn't get stressed even though their computer system was struggling for her. She spent 3 hours with us and still was smiling !! She deserves a big raise !!

Honestly, I generally loathe going into customer service situations—they are invariably frustrating. However, Lex at Verizon was a delightful reprieve from former experiences. He was helpful and calm and I appreciated that a lot. It’s probably been one of the few times where I have actually wanted to go back again after the experience. Highly recommend him and his store.

I was desperately looking for a Gizmo watch for my daughter for Christmas. I called many stores and when I called this store Lex was super helpful and kind. It's because of Lex that I got this gift for my daughter on time. Thank you very much Lex!

Excellent service. Tech was patient, courteous and knowledgeable. Took care of all the set-up with the new phones, applying screen protectors, service and data transfer, I didn't note anything lacking in the attention to detail. Will be returning to this location for all my cellular needs.
