They were able to answer all our questions and seemed genuinely interested in listening to what we were looking for and providing recommendations for our project, while also not being pushy and respecting our opinions. I felt no pressure to buy anything at any time. We are happy to buy our plants here, and they will be our first stop for anything we might need in the future. Highly recommend!”
“We'd been looking for a White Flowering Eastern Redbud tree for several years and decided to look again the first week of May 2024. Visiting several nurseries, no one had any but one nursery suggested Shadycreek. We called and they had two left. A quick trip to Columbia, IL, off of I-255 and we arrived. A nice selection of other trees as well. We asked if they would deliver (a tight fit in our car - it would be hanging out), and they said yes for a fee. We purchased on a Thursday and delivery was set for Thursday. I was AMAZED ? when it showed up later in the afternoon. ??”
“Beautiful little hidden gem in SoCo. If you have visited years ago in the past and in the fence of coming back please note they are under new management/owners. And if your a plant lover like me you have to check them out. Plants are reasonably priced, & healthy. The indoor section is fun to look out my only complaint is the items in there are extremely expensive. But still pretty to look at.”

“This is quite a delayed review- but better late than never. :) My mom really wanted some hanging plants for Mother's Day. I always drive by Colors of Spring and notice the beautiful plants outside (when they're open). We went together to pick them out, and loved the different varieties that they offered. We parked on Fyler for street parking, and walked in the back. Lots of different areas to look and choose from. I'm the furthest from a plant pro, so I wouldn't be able to tell you exactly what I saw. However; they looked well taken care of and of good quality. There were also a large variety on the outside of the front of the shop on Watson. We found a couple we liked to check out and the staff member working explained to my mom how to properly take care of her choices- water amount, sunlight amount. It was a quick and easy experience, I would definitely go back to find more in the future!”

“This location was packed last week for the end of April... but they had beautiful flowers and a wide assortment of mulch. I prefer to go to the smaller floral shops for actual plants, but I needed to come here for peat moss that they didn't carry elsewhere. Although it was busy the self check out went relatively quick. Overall pleased with the experience.”
“In and out service, able to drop mower off at 9, and it was ready before their time of closing. Matter of fact I had to pick it up the next day, because I was on the job when call came to come and get it.”
“I visited this store after experiencing inferior customer service at Lowe’s Arnold. I was pleased to find exceptional customer service and ceiling tiles that were $10 less than what I paid at Lowe’s. I had to buy the remaining tiles here because Lowe's was out of stock. Excellent job, Home Depot! I won’t be returning to Lowe’s again.”
“I would like to share how an Home Depot employee in the Plumbing department named Armin went above and beyond with helping me find every item i needed to resolve my problem. As soon as he saw me he greeted and welcomed me and offered to help, which was so nice of him. Home Depot is lucky to have him.

“had a great experience with Oh So in the paint department. I was standing there going through all of the colors completely undecided, and he came over and within two minutes helped me narrow everything down. He asked the right questions and quickly guided me to the perfect color.
He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. Instead of rushing me, he made sure I felt confident about the choice and explained the different options in a way that was easy to understand.
Great customer service like that really stands out. If you need help in the paint department, I definitely recommend asking for Oh So. He made the whole experience quick, easy, and stress-free. I don’t know how he spells his name maybe it’s Oso, but to me, he is, Oh So handsome, Oh So kind and Oh So smoove!”

“I called today and requested an arrangement for this afternoon, even offered to pick it up for ordering at the last minute. They were able to deliver for me at no change. She asked several questions to help me decide what I wanted, and made some suggestions. After finishing the arrangement she sent me a picture, and it was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything better.”
