I read a young lady' post that was made 2 months ago. She referred to Juan giving her a hard time. I apologize because this shop was referred to me by an older retired mechanical. He said see Juan because he worked with him for many years. So I did an we had a good relationship. I liked taking my own parts and him getting my car repaired within the day. He communicated.
I had another vehicle that was leaking unfortunately I had to make 3 trips but there were no issues it got fixed. Communication was the key.
I returned this week unaware that Juan is no longer there and whew the experience has been stressful. No Communication. I dropped my car off at about 9:30 am and said the AC is not working I would like a diagnosis and need my car back that day for my child to get to work on the next day. Called at 1 have you looked at it , No. Five o'clock no response after being told you'll do it within the hour.
Okay I need it I'll come back Friday. Friday I dropped off at 9:30 no call at 5:20 I called no answer, I go there closed up car in same spot. Not sure anything happen. I took my car. It's Saturday hmm no call so you closed. You don't think you should have Communicated that, you have my number. So I am supposed to be okay without my car for how many days.
Oh well I am so disappointed. When you open whatever day I'll be back to get my key. Thanks for 2 wasted days. I'll go somewhere else.
Sorry Juan left for others maybe your experience was bad with him but wow this has been an awful experience. It was close to my home.
Lord I hate my mechanic and friend transition he came to my home so you know I was spoiled.

i went to the auto clinic muffler and brake shop on sibley and the owner referred me to his other shop. There I met Juan. We (Juan, the owner and myself) had a perfect understanding until Juan pretended to have fixed the issues on my vehicle. We went to Juan and this man told me out his own mouth he got water in my engine and that’s why the engine light was on. Juan told me he had a tragic incident in his family and he would work on it when he got back. But because I felt a way about him saying he got water in the engine I decided to call the other owner only to find out he would be out also for the same amount of days as his employee, going out of the country and for the same exact reason as Juan. We went to the shop unexpectedly during the time Juan was supposed to be gone and he was THERE. When we mentioned the issues he acted as if he was intimidating us. As a black woman he referred to me and my mother as “man”, he mentioned to us he was Mexican and he told us to get out and do whatever we were going to do.
