Used this bank for years and nothing but problems. Do not use them very unprofessional they will make mistakes and then take money from you without your acknowledgment. So long $700 what a joke

This place is horrible. Every time I buy something online they lock my account so I can't use my card again. Takes two weeks to get another one. Been a member for almost 5 years and have had this issue 17 times now, today will be my last day with them.

Very friendly, informative, and helpful. Never had a bad experience within about 5 years here.

I’ve had a savings here for years! Recently got a checking account & I hate it! I literally have to call the bank everyday about something! Still haven’t been able to properly activate my card! Uploaded a check through mobile deposit and decided to check. It failed due to is not having a correct verbiage on endorsement. The app never even prompt you to write this on the back. Just holding up a lot of my business and waisting time. I’ve had the account for about a month now and ready to close it!

Great place. The staff there is always friendly, patient, and accommodating. I've been with Illiana for nearly 10 years at this point, and I don't see myself banking anywhere otherwise.

This is the worst bank I have ever needed to work with. They took my auto loan from another bank, didn't notify me, and had no problem charging me a ton of fees because I couldn't use their online banking they couldn't be bothered to mail my account info for. Inside the bank, they can't find any record of me existing and they can't accept any of my debit cards. They only take very specific visa cards, unfortunately my visa wasn't good enough. This entire institution is trash and you should run away if you can.

I just opened up a business account, I work during the week so I can't walk in. On weekends for some reason there closed and on top of that nobody answers the phone at all. I haven't been with this credit union over 2 months and I can truly say that this is horrible. I don't know if this place will work out for me.

When you really need help after hours you can’t get it until the next business day. You all need 24 hour hotline not just for lost or stolen cards. My account is locked and I can’t access it

would first like to say that I have been a long time client of Illiana for approximately 10 years and have referred dozens of people due to the outstanding customer service and warm family environment. However, over the past 2 years I have noticed a decline with the most recent incident that has me completely floored and will soon transfer everything I own from Illiana as well as others who are bothered by my current situation. First, I opened a HELOC and the loan officer did not correctly look at the appraisal and told me that I did not qualify for the amount that I asked for. She somehow decreased my appraisal amount by 5K, I had foot surgery and discovered this after the first trip to the drive through to sign documents. She had to reprint new documents adding the amount that she needed to correct. Second trip to the drive through, then received a call that they cannot find the notarized document. If this was not already a headache, I closed on a home that I owned with a HELOC, which was my first time utilizing a HELOC, I was under the impression that once the debt was paid and property was sold on Nov 3, 2020, you couldn't use the money anymore, but the HELOC stayed open so I called to inquire, because maybe I was wrong. I called and explained that I sold the house, but the HELOC was still open 1 month later and if I could use the funds. I was told yes, then one week later, called to have funds transferred to my checking account. Two weeks later, I receive a call with a woman scolding me, saying that I was not suppose to use the funds and why did I do it. She scolded and scoffed at me as if I transferred the money myself. As I asked to speak to her supervisor, she then told me the problem and that she in fact was supposed to close the account and didn't. She then told me that I needed to call the mortgage company that I paid off the mortgage for my rental property (reason why I used the money again) to tell them to cancel the payment made almost 2 weeks prior. I then suggested that I did not know and would gladly open a new HELOC to fix the problem if this would resolve the situation, but never heard back from her.Now I attempt to use the credit card that should have been in my clearing acct for my HELOC for my current home. This HELOC has absolutely nothing to do with the other, however, when I called to inquire about why purchase for my post graduate classes declined, I was told that Crystal froze my card over 2 weeks ago. I also discovered that the funds in my savings accounts shows an available balance of $0.85. All of this was done without my knowledge and no one reached out to me to resolve an issue that they created. As I called for 2 days, everyone has been passing the buck and stating that they cannot help me. Even spoke with a loan officer Camilla who said all of the supervisors were out for the holiday. No sense of urgency and even stated that she knew about my situation because the credit union employees have been talking about it all week. Absolutely unprofessional and many other words that I could use to describe this practice and behavior. Not to mention that my friend, of whom I referred, was sent to collections for $6.00 Needless to say I will be making arrangements to move forward with processes, since the administration could care less about contacting me and word of mouth has began in my personal and professional world as no one should be treated this way. If I was a millionaire with a different cultural background, this would not be my reality I'm sure!

Very long lines, since no one is allowed in the building right now. Understandable, but make sure you have wipes and hand sanitizer, the staff inside were not wearing PPE.
