“I have been in several Dollar Tree locations and this store is EXCELLENT. Staff is friendly and helpful! I have never encountered an issue. Today I called to see if an item I was looking for was in stock. The person told me that they were just receiving their shipment and would call me back to let me know if they got any. They kept their word and called back! Now this is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I reached out to the Corporate Office to forward this compliment as well.”

I told them I didn't want to leave it there, but they said I have to. I feel discriminated for being male. They never tell women to do the same with their huge purses. This needs to change. “Even though Dollar Tree jumped up a whopping 25 per cent with no prior notice. You can still find interesting things to purchase. I actually considered not going back to the store after the price shock and content reduction of some of it's products. But I realized there are some tasty and unique offerings to be found there. At $1.25 a few products are over the top, but you can still get some great bargains. Yes dollar and a quarter tree is still on my list of go to stores.”

“This is a hometown dollar store with fast and friendly service. There are numerous items to pick up for the household and of a personal nature, you can even obtain reasonably priced Chicago souvenirs that would cost an arm and leg at O'Hare Airport or the Amtrak station. That the store is located in the busy, trendy Hyde Park area is a plus because there are numerous places to eat and shop. I loved this store, the great service, and fantastic location.”

“My experience here was, okay. The problem is that it's just toooo unorganized. The decor was alright... Once again its a low priced retail store so you can expect to much. The employees work quick and fast. Slightly may be understaffed or different shifts. Not a bad place! I say you check it out! Headphones, snacks, toys, etc. (Update | Feb 13, 2019) Forget everything I said! They have updated this Family Dollar to the max! It's very organized now!! I highly, suggest that you go visit!”
