My daughter had her wedding at the church. She did not receive her deposit back due to nit picking board members. I have asked Amber to have someone from the church call me , her response I will get back with you. It looks like the church blocked me on messenger. When you rent a church out for a wedding , you still have to have someone come in and clean. We didn't know the garbage was to be taken out. A door was left open to a closet! Really ? We cleaned up the church and vacuumed . We had the rehearsal the day before the wedding and it was hot in the church. After speaking with one of the ladies that came by to lock up ( not Amber) she said the A/C was out and couldn't get it fixed. Told me to bring fans in and open a door. I think we should have been told about no A/C . It was hot in the church the next day. We left a mum which Amber knew we were leaving as a thank you to the church. Some board member complained that it could have stained the piano. My daughter left a vase there and she would like it back , plus two buckets that did not have dirty water and weeds in them. The buckets had olive branches in them and well water. For a church to sound so harsh and complaining to an outsider is terrible. If you ever want growth in your church you need to show some kindness. My encounters were with Amber who has been nice, and two women that locked up on Friday that were rude. I am guessing that the women that locked up are the ones that don't want to give the deposit back.I would still like to hear from someone in the church .Dawn Mitchell
